Kayla Nicole, influencer and former partner of NFL star Travis Kelce, recently reflected on her past relationship and the challenges women often face when their exes move on.

Speaking on her Pre-Game podcast, Nicole addressed a common but rarely discussed feeling: struggling with the reality of the “new girl” who steps into a former partner’s life.

Rather than expressing bitterness, Nicole offered a mature and empowering perspective.

She admitted that many women find it hard to accept when the new girlfriend is attractive and thriving. However, she proudly stated that she has “no problem” with her ex dating “more pretty girls.”

NFC East’s Competitive Edge & MVP Predictions in 2025

Nicole believes that if you’re going to lose someone, you should lose to “the best team” and wants her ex to “move on and go do your big one.”

To her, it’s better that he ends up with someone impressive rather than someone who might make everyone question their own judgment.

“Kudos to those who can admit that the new girl is hot,” Nicole said. “Our exes deserve love just as much as we do.”

Navigating Breakup Challenges: The Custody Battle Over Dogs

Nicole‘s breakup with Kelce, which lasted on and off from 2017 to 2020, was anything but simple. Aside from the emotional toll, the pair faced practical challenges-most notably, custody of their two dogs, Rambo and Chauncey.

In a recent candid podcast episode with Nazanin Mandi, Nicole revealed that she won sole custody of the pets and took on the full responsibility of caring for them.

“I had a dog bill the other day that was $2,000,” she shared humorously.

“And I love my kids, but how did y’all come to that conclusion? Because that’s impressive.”

Her lighthearted tone didn’t hide the fact that caring for the pets has been a serious commitment, but one she’s willing to shoulder.

While Nicole has been navigating motherhood and life’s new chapters, Kelce‘s life has taken a different public path.

The Kansas City Chiefs star is now dating superstar Taylor Swift, sparking wedding rumors and media speculation. However, Nicole appears unfazed by the spotlight on her ex’s new romance, focusing instead on self-growth and authenticity.

Nicole‘s honest reflections and real-life stories resonate with many who have endured messy breakups but strive to move forward with grace.

Her story is a reminder that healing and self-love come in many forms-even through laughter, acceptance, and embracing the unexpected.

Browns QB Dillon Gabriel should be getting some of the attention paid to Shedeur Sanders

The Cleveland Browns have been looking for a quarterback for more than a quarter century. They might have drafted a viable option. It's just not the draft pick everyone is talking about.Shedeur Sanders is a rare story, a fifth-round pick who has overshadowed every other player selected in the draft. That includes his teammate drafted two rounds earlier, Dillon Gabriel.AdvertisementAdvertisementAdvertisementThat has made for a very strange situation in which Gabriel played well in the preseason and nobody seems to care. All anyone wants to talk about is the player behind Gabriel on the depth chart (and who has been behind Gabriel on the depth chart since they were both drafted). On another team, perhaps in another season, a third-round quarterback playing as well as Gabriel would have actually gotten some notice.Dillon Gabriel has a strong preseasonIt's telling that the most attention […]

How to bet on the Broncos: Super Bowl odds, win total, props, best futures bets for Denver in 2025

After the failed Russell Wilson experiment, the Denver Broncos began 2024 with a rookie quarterback in Bo Nix, who the team selected with the 12th overall pick in last year's draft. Many saw it as a reach, even with Nix being the sixth quarterback taken. But Sean Payton saw Nix as an ideal fit for his system, and after a rough stretch to open his career, Nix flourished and led Denver to the postseason while finishing 10th in scoring, including six games with 30 or more points scored. Nix completed 66% of his passes with 29 touchdowns to 12 interceptions. The AFC West runs through Kansas City, and if Nix and Co. want to take the division crown from the Chiefs, the Broncos will need Nix to avoid the dreaded sophomore slump that's plagued so many young quarterbacks over the years, such as […]

Eagles to waive OL Kenyon Green five months after trading for former first-round pick

USATSI The Philadelphia Eagles are making a notable roster move ahead of Tuesday's 53-man deadline by waiving offensive lineman Kenyon Green, according to CBS Sports' Matt Zenitz. The reigning Super Bowl champions traded for Green and a fifth-round pick in March in a deal that gave the Houston Texans safety C.J. Gardner-Johnson and a sixth-round pick. Green was expected to compete for a backup guard spot but clearly did not make the kind of progress needed to keep a roster spot. While the Eagles appear set with their formidable starting five of Jordan Mailata, Landon Dickerson, Cam Jurgens, Tyler Steen and Lane Johnson, they have been active in reshuffling some of their reserves on the offensive line. On Sunday, Philly made a total of three trades -- two of which included offensive linemen. The Eagles acquired offensive tackle Fred Johnson from the Jacksonville Jaguars in exchange for a seventh-round pick, and then sent offensive tackle Darian Kinnard to the Green […]
