Stefon Diggs appears to be ignoring the noise surrounding the small bag of pink powder he was holding on a yacht party as the wide receiver posts a photo celebrating his girlfriend, Cardi B.
The 31-year-old New England Patriots player is in a relationship with the rapper, although the precise start date is unclear. Rumors began in October 2024 and the pair seem to have hooked up.
Since then, they’ve already become enveloped in their first controversy as the professional athlete and musician enjoyed partying on a yacht with a group of women, with Cardi B apparently nowhere in sight when the powder was in shot.
He’s spotted holding a powdered substance in a bag, which people have theorized online could be drugs, although this is merely speculation as things stand.

It’s led to the Patriots, who penned him to a three-year $69m deal, to launch an investigation into the matter, although nothing has come from the NFL yet.
Regardless, he shrugged off the noise and focused on uploading some photos to Instagram, including a snap of him and his beau courtside at a Boston Celtics NBA Playoffs game against the New York Knicks on May 12.
He can be spotted in jeans and a pair of Timberlands, whilst Cardi B is kitted out in a black leather suit, as just one of a numerous range of images totalling 20.
“To the month of May, I appreciate you none the less… gotta stay focused,” Diggs posted, before sharing the photo of him and Cardi B courtside to his Instagram Stories with the caption, “Baby brim.”
Patriots to investigate Diggs
The Patriots are looking into the matter as head coach Mike Vrabel addressed reporters on Wednesday, May 28, acknowledging the viral video featuring his player.
In the clip, which has circulated widely on platforms like Instagram and X, Diggs, 31, is seen interacting with three women and appears to hand over a small bag containing a pink, crystal-like substance.
“We’re aware of the video,” Vrabel said. “Our expectation is that everyone in the organization continues to make responsible choices, both on and off the field. That message is consistent for all our players.”
Diggs did not attend Wednesday’s voluntary session, and as of now, the NFL has decline to comment on the matter. The Patriots will ensure any discussions between the team and player remain confidential.
The team is ramping up their preparations ahead of the 2025/26 NFL season, which they will open with a clash against the Las Vegas Raiders on September 7 at the Gillette Stadium in Foxborough.
New England looks to improve on a 4-13 record in 2024/25, a result that left them bottom of the AFC East and nine wins behind the division-winning Buffalo Bills.
