Nach 10 Jahren Premier League steht Kevin De Bruyne kurz vor einem Wechsel nach Italien. Mit Meister Neapel gibt es bereits eine mündliche Einigung, Boss Aurelio de Laurentiis (76) posaunte auch schon heraus, dass der Belgier sich „ein schönes Häuschen“ in Neapel gekauft habe.

Capaldi bestätigte im „Transfers“-Podcast, dass Lukakus gute Beziehung zu De Bruyne eine Schlüsselrolle in den Verhandlungen gespielt hat. „Trainer Antonio Conte vertraut Lukaku sehr und dessen Beziehung zu De Bruyne“, so Capaldi. Er fügte hinzu, dass Lukaku und De Bruyne miteinander gesprochen haben.
Der Journalist betonte, dass der Ex-City-Spieler zwar nicht mehr in der Form von vor sieben, acht Jahren sei, er aber immer noch Gefahr ausstrahle. „Diese letzten Jahre seiner Karriere kann er bei Napoli den Unterschied ausmachen“, sagte Capaldi.

Rangers have named Russell Martin as the club's new head coach.The 39-year-old saw off competition from the likes of former Ibrox boss Steven Gerrard and Carlo Ancelotti's son Davide, who was assistant at Bayern Munich, Napoli, Everton and Real Madrid.
