Robert Lewandowski ist Barcas Biowunder!
Mit 36 Jahren erzielte der Ex-Bayern-Star 42 Tore über alle Wettbewerbe hinweg und landet damit nur knapp hinter Kylian Mbappé – der ganze zehn Jahre jünger ist. Lewandowskis Treffer waren entscheidend für Barcelonas glorreiche Saison: der LaLiga-Titel, die Copa del Rey und der spanische Supercup wanderten in die Trophäensammlung.

Doch der Fußballstar bleibt realistisch. In einem Interview mit „Mundo Deportivo“ sprach er offen über die Herausforderungen des Älterwerdens: „Ja, mein Alter ist ein bisschen – wie soll ich sagen, ich kann es so ausdrücken – nur Zahlen. Ich fühle mich körperlich und mental sehr gut. Nach meiner Verletzung fühlte ich mich etwas schlechter als vorher, aber das ist normal“, erklärte er optimistisch.
Der Torjäger zeigt sich zufrieden mit seiner körperlichen Verfassung und ist bereit für weitere Höchstleistungen: „Mit meinem Alter bin ich sehr glücklich, weil ich weiß, dass ich immer noch körperlich gut vorbereitet bin für eine volle Saison. Ich kann mindestens noch ein Jahr auf höchstem Niveau spielen.“

Rückblickend auf die Saison mit Barça gesteht Lewandowski, dass es nicht immer einfach war: „Wir hatten einen schwierigen Moment gegen Ende des letzten Jahres, aber das ist normal bei so einer jungen Mannschaft. Nachdem wir gegen Atlético verloren hatten, sagte ich, es sei besser, das jetzt durchzumachen als später. Von Anfang bis Ende der Saison haben wir sehr gut gespielt und überzeugend gewonnen – nicht nur 1:0 oder 2:0, sondern mit vielen Toren.“
Lewandowski fasst zusammen: „Ich denke, es war fast eine perfekte Saison. Wir haben LaLiga, die Copa del Rey und die Supercopa gewonnen und es bis ins Halbfinale der Champions League geschafft. Wir sollten nicht nur auf die Titel stolz sein, sondern auch darauf, wie wir gespielt haben. Die Fans haben ein Team mit Herz gesehen, und das bedeutet viel.“
