O PSG campeão europeu não é uma volta no tempo. Talvez esteja até apontando para o futuro

É curioso como os novos padrões do futebol globalizado, concentrador de riquezas, por vezes nos iludem. Quando Mbappé deixou o Paris Saint-Germain e o clube apostou em jogadores jovens e dinâmicos, tornou-se quase lugar comum dizer que se tratava de um projeto “mais modesto”. É como se só concebêssemos os superclubes modernos se estes nos apresentarem uma reunião de celebridades. E não, o PSG campeão europeu não é uma volta no tempo, tampouco contraria tendências modernas. Ao contrário, é totalmente alinhado com o jogo atual em suas melhores e piores faces. E, talvez, esteja até apontando para o futuro.

Este time custou muito dinheiro, como custam os times campeões na elite atual. Só os 11 titulares fizeram o clube gastar meio bilhão de euros em jogadores importantes de diferentes seleções do mundo, acessíveis apenas porque o PSG é, hoje, um clube de recursos quase infinitos desde que foi comprado pelo Catar. Após o título do Manchester City, em 2023, o Paris Saint-Germain se tornou o segundo “clube-estado” em dois anos a ganhar a Champions.

O PSG é mais do que um clube usado para polir a imagem de um país conhecido pelas reservas de petróleo e gás, além do péssimo histórico em direitos humanos. É parte de uma vasta cadeia de investimentos na busca por estreitar relações globais, seja para diversificar atividade econômica, seja por alianças militares numa região cheia de complexidades.

Nada mais contemporâneo, como é contemporânea a forma de jogar do time. É consenso que, sem estrelas “menos trabalhadoras”, como Mbappé, Luís Enrique pôde construir um time dinâmico, capaz de unir talento a uma pressão que segue as melhores cartilhas do jogo atual. Mas há um dado ainda mais fascinante. Talvez estejamos diante do futuro.

A linha evolutiva do futebol quase sempre obedeceu à lei da ação e reação: sistemas hegemônicos induziam à busca por antídotos e outras inovações. Vivemos a época dos chamados ataques posicionais, onde se busca vantagem a partir das posições ocupadas no setor ofensivo. É como se cada jogador ocupasse uma zona predeterminada ao atacar, quase sempre intervalos entre as linhas de defesa ou entre zagueiros, por exemplo.

Técnicos como Guardiola levaram o chamado Jogo de Posição a um outro nível, e também as estratégias para enfrentá-los: por exemplo, a volta das marcações individuais. Havia quem defendesse que os adeptos de ataques posicionais precisariam, em algum momento, se adaptar. Se isso for uma verdade, o PSG de Luís Enrique parece um magnífico exemplo.

Não chega a ser novidade ver times alternando jogadores que ocupam, em diferentes momentos, as mesmas zonas do campo. No entanto, jamais se viu algo parecido com as constantes rotações do PSG. Tudo é feito com notável fluidez, uma brutal exigência técnica, física e mental dos jogadores. A Inter de Milão, dona de um exemplar sistema defensivo, jamais conseguiu lidar com o que se passava em campo, um futebol de outro nível.

No primeiro gol da final de sábado, o ponta-direita Doué ataca a área como meia-esquerda, enquanto o centroavante Dembelé está na ponta-direita. Quem aparece para arrematar como um “camisa 9” é Hakimi, o lateral-direito.

O trio de meias, formado por João Neves, Fabián Ruiz e Vitinha, este um dos grandes meias da temporada em todo o mundo, alterna posições sem parar. Ruiz e Vitinha podem se colocar perto dos zagueiros para a saída de bola ou atacar a área rival. Tudo isso sem que o time perca forma, ainda que assuma riscos defensivos claros sempre que sua pressão é ultrapassada.

Se campeões ditam tendências, talvez o PSG tenha colocado um novo elemento no cardápio do futebol mundial, uma espécie de “jogo posicional versão 2.0”.

Vitória e dúvidas

Três pontos no Campeonato Brasileiro sempre devem ser comemorados. Ainda mais num jogo de pouca produção por 75 minutos — até Neymar deixar o Santos com dez jogadores. Mas, olhando para o futuro, o Botafogo deixou preocupações. O rendimento ofensivo sem Igor Jesus e Cuiabano foi ruim, e o noticiário aponta para a venda de ambos. Rwan Cruz não deixa boas sensações e, caso os titulares saiam, a janela exigirá soluções.

Indomável

No jogo em que parecia mais móvel desde a volta, Neymar outra vez impediu que seu futebol fosse o centro do debate. Hostilizou a arbitragem, discutiu com a arquibancada e foi expulso tolamente no agora último jogo de seu contrato. Tornou-se alguém com imensa dificuldade de zelar pela própria imagem. O que inclui o discurso de seu pai sobre a renovação, colocando o clube que o revelou em posição de subserviência em relação a ele.

Criar oportunidades contra defesas fechadas vinha sendo um ponto de atenção no Flamengo. E o time foi muito bem nesse aspecto enquanto o Fortaleza se protegeu mais. Atraía os meias rivais e achava espaço às costas deles. Em vantagem, demoliu um rival cuja desmobilização é alarmante. E, para abrir o placar, foi vital a categoria de Léo Ortiz no passe para Arrascaeta. A linha defensiva do Flamengo tem muito talento.
