The next edition of one of the most eagerly awaited events for wrestling fans will take place on Saturday, July 5. WWE Money in the Bank 2025 will take place at the Intuit Dome in Inglewood, California, where both men and women will have the opportunity to win the coveted briefcase and cash in a match for the championship of their choice.

The WWE Money in the Bank was created in 2005 and has always been one of the most anticipated matches by WWE fans. Initially, this type of match was only for men and took place at the WrestleMania main event. However, since 2010 it was decided to give it a more prominent space and that is why the Money in the Bank main event was created, which takes place once a year and over time a women’s version was included.

What are the rules of WWE Money in the Bank?

The combat format of WWE Money in the Bank has varied over time, but the basis is the same. Seven wrestlers compete to get a briefcase that does not come with money, but with a great opportunity. The rules of the match are based on the fact that to win you have to place a ladder in the ring and climb to reach the briefcase. The wrestler who manages to keep it will be the winner and will be able to “cash it in” for a match against one of the champions.

Throughout history, there have been 27 men and eight women who have won the WWE Money in the Bank and here is a list of those who have won this coveted prize.
