O Palmeiras fez neste domingo o último trabalho antes de embarcar para os Estados Unidos para a disputa da Copa do Mundo de Clubes da Fifa. Na Academia de Futebol, os atletas fizeram os ajustes finais para a viagem e também a definição dos relacionados para a competição.
Treino e festa
Segundo o Lance!, a atividade envolveu um jogo-treino com atletas do time principal e da categoria sub-20. A atividade foi mais uma a qual os jogadores que estão com suas respectivas seleções não estiveram em campo para fase de preparação para o Mundial de Clubes
Antes do treinamento, um grupo de torcedores que compareceu à porta da Academia foi recepcionado pelos jogadores do Verdão. Ali, o grupo e os atletas fizeram uma celebração para motivar o elenco alviverde antes da viagem para os EUA, nesta segunda-feira (9)
Legal do clube ter colocado os atletas do portão pra fora, essa troca com a torcida tem que acontecer.

Somente em solo americano é que os convocados estarão à disposição de Abel Ferreira para poder participar dos treinos finais antes da estreia do Verdão na Copa do Mundo de Clubes, no próximo domingo (15), diante do Porto
Lista de inscritos
Também neste domingo, o Palmeiras acertou a lista dos 28 atletas que seguirão para os EUA para a disputa do Mundial de Clubes. A principal ausência é o atacante Bruno Rodrigues, que está em fase final de recuperação de lesão e ainda não estaria em condições de poder entrar em campo na competição;
Paulinho está confirmado. O atacante teve alguma dúvida em sua participação, como consequência de um novo problema na perna, mas estará no elenco para a competição. A intenção é de que a participação do camisa 10 seja feita de forma dosada para evitar novos problemas que podem gerar cirurgia.
