Es ist eine vertrackte Situation, die aktuell vom Triumph in der Champions League überstrahlt wird: Torhüter Gianluigi Donnarumma sitzt bei PSG längst nicht mehr fest im Sattel.
Sein Vertrag läuft in einem Jahr aus, die Verhandlungen über eine Verlängerung ziehen sich bereits seit Monaten hin – ohne Ergebnis. Wie konnte es so weit kommen?
PSG hatte die Gespräche zunächst verschleppt, legte dann nur zögerlich Angebote vor. Die sollen bei Donnarumma und seinem Umfeld aber gar nicht gut angekommen sein.
Der Ex-Mailänder verdient im Jahr zehn Mio. Euro – zu wenig, findet er. Die Verantwortlichen von Paris Saint-Germain hingegen wollen ihre neue Finanzpolitik und ein niedrigeres Grundgehalt durchsetzen. Mit der Anzahl von Spieleinsätzen würden auch die Zusatzzahlungen steigen.

Öffentlich beklagte der Keeper auch den fehlenden Rückhalt von PSG, besonders wenn Kritik von außen kam. Er stellt den Klub vor die Wahl: „Ich bin bereit für alles, aber mein Wunsch ist, in Paris zu bleiben. Hier habe ich mein Gleichgewicht gefunden, das Team und die Fans lieben mich.“
Doch offenbar driften Verein und Spieler immer weiter auseinander. Die italienische „La Repubblica“ berichtete bereits, dass PSG Donnarumma ziehen lassen würde – für 40 Mio. Euro.

Und auch der Italiener scheint sich aktiv mit möglichen zukünftigen Arbeitgebern zu beschäftigen. Wie die „L’Equipe“ weiter schreibt, soll Donnarumma zwei verlockende Ziele sogar bereits mit Teamkollegen besprochen haben: Manchester United und Manchester City!
Das Interesse von United war bekannt, City scheint neu in den Poker um den Italiener einzusteigen. „Gazzetta dello Sport“ zufolgen haben viele weitere Top-Klubs ein Auge auf den Torwart geworfen. Darunter auch: der FC Bayern und Real Madrid.
