Nach der Horror-Saison plant Manchester United den Umbruch

Der englische Rekordmeister hat eine historisch schlechte Saison hinter sich. Mit Matheus Cunha (26) haben sie den ersten Zugang bereits verpflichtet. Um Platz für weitere neue Spieler zu haben, müssen die „Red Devils“ aber erst mal aufräumen. Und haben laut der Zeitung „Sun“ eine Liste von drei Spielern, die gehen sollen.

[–>Der Erste ist Alejandro Garnacho (20/Martkwert 45 Mio.), der durchaus Begehrlichkeiten bei anderen europäischen Top-Klubs weckt. Seine Zukunft liegt aber wahrscheinlich außerhalb Europas.

Im Januar lehnte Man United ein Angebot von 40 Millionen Pfund (etwa 47 Millionen Euro) für den Stürmer ab. Auch in Leverkusen soll er Thema sein – dort wäre eine Wiedervereinigung mit Trainer Erik ten Hag möglich. Aber: Das bessere Angebot bekommt Manchester wahrscheinlich aus Saudi-Arabien. Womöglich vom Ronaldo-Klub Al-Nassr.

Auch Jadon Sancho (25), der 2021 für 85 Mio. aus Dortmund kam, könnte nächste Saison in Saudi-Arabien spielen. Er war vergangene Saison zu Chelsea ausgeliehen. Weder in London noch Manchester will man den Ex-Dortmunder länger haben.

Der dritte Spieler, der gehen soll, ist Rasmus Højlund (22). Er könnte in die Serie A zurückkehren – zu Inter Mailand. 2023 kam der Däne für 78 Millionen Euro von Atalanta Bergamo – jetzt würde der Klub ihn für 45 bis 50 Milliionen Euro ziehen lassen.

Inter will den Stürmer zunächst ausleihen, mit Kaufoption oder sogar Kaufpflicht für den nächsten Sommer. Dann würde die Ablöse erst im Sommer 2026 gezahlt werden. Sollte er nicht gehen, hätte es Højlund nächste Saison schwer bei United: Mit Cunha haben sie seinen Nachfolger bereits verpflichtet.

Für Cunha haben die „Red Devils“ knapp 75 Millionen Euro gezahlt. Viktor Gyökeres (27) könnte laut „Sun“ folgen – Man United soll im Rennen um den Schweden derzeit die Nase vorn haben.

Auch ein Bundesliga-Star könnte dem Ruf auf die Insel folgen: Wie BILD schon seit vergangenem Winter berichtet, hat United Interesse an Benjamin Sesko (22) von RB Leipzig. Bei der Verpflichtung Bryan Mbeumo (25) könnte Tottenham noch dazwischenfunken.

Für diese weiteren Verpflichtungen muss Manchester aber erst seine Streichkandidaten loswerden.
