Im Sommer 2023 war Sadio Mané (33) von Bayern München nach Saudi-Arabien zu al-Nassr gewechselt. Nach bislang 93 Spielen und 37 Toren könnte der 111-fache Nationalspieler des Senegal nun vor dem Abschied stehen. Dies berichtet der englische „Mirror“.
Muss sich Sané wirklich einen neuen Verein suchen?
Hintergrund ist die Zukunft von Cristiano Ronaldo (40). Der Superstar hatte erst mit einem Post für Riesen-Wirbel gesorgt, als er über möglichen Abschied bei al-Nassr schrieb. Nun erklärte er nach dem Gewinn der Nations League, dass er noch eine weitere Saison bleiben werde.
Deshalb habe der saudische Klub Mané mitgeteilt, dass er den Verein verlassen könne, um so Platz für einen Neuzugang zu schaffen, so die Meldung des „Mirror“.

Laut dem Bericht denke al-Nassr darüber nach, den Argentinier in diesem Sommer zu verpflichten, nachdem sich der argentinische Flügelspieler mit Trainer Ruben Amorim (40) gezofft hatte.

Englische Medien hatten berichtet, dass der Coach Garnacho bei einem Streit in der Umkleidekabine vor der gesamten Mannschaft gesagt habe, er müsse „beten“, um diesen Sommer einen neuen Verein zu finden.
Zuvor war Garnacho den Trainer angegangen, weil er im Europa-League-Finale gegen Tottenham (0:1) in Bilbao nicht in der United-Startelf stand. Er reagierte darauf schon vor dem Anpfiff mit einem Post bei Social Media und bezeichnete die Saison seines Klubs kurz und heftig als „scheiße“.
Auch der Transferexperte Fabrizio Romano hatte bereits von einem Abschied Garnachos bei United geschrieben. Sowohl von Spieler-, als auch Vereinsseite sei die Entscheidung bestätigt worden.
