Kommt er jetzt endlich zum Zug?
Xabi Alonso steht vor seinem Debüt als Cheftrainer von Real Madrid – und hat für einen Spieler ganz besondere Pläne: Arda Güler (20). Der spanische Trainer will den türkischen Youngster auf eine neue Position setzen, um ihn zur vollen Entfaltung zu bringen.
[–>Wie die spanische Zeitung AS berichtet, plant Alonso, Güler künftig etwas tiefer im Mittelfeld einzusetzen – bereits bei der FIFA-Klub-WM im kommenden Winter soll das neue System getestet werden. Hintergrund: Nach dem Abschied von Real-Legende Luka Modrić (38) wird im Zentrum Platz frei. Alonso sieht Güler offenbar als potenziellen Taktgeber der Zukunft.
Güler, der in der abgelaufenen Saison meist auf dem rechten Flügel oder als Zehner ran durfte, konnte nie konstant starten – seine Entwicklung stagnierte. Jetzt könnte Alonso zum perfekten Mentor werden: Seine Spielphilosophie passt laut AS hervorragend zu Gülers Stärken – insbesondere dessen Spielmacher-Qualitäten.
Weil Real Argentiniens Talent Franco Mastantuono (16/River Plate) verpflichtet hat – ebenfalls Linksfuß und bevorzugt auf Gülers Position – wird ein neuer Platz im Zentrum zur Überlebensfrage für den Türken. Defensiv ist er noch nicht komplett, aber Alonso könnte ihn ähnlich wie Modrić als tiefen Spielmacher aufbauen.
Die Zukunft des Mittelfelds wird auch von Stars wie Jude Bellingham, Aurélien Tchouaméni und Eduardo Camavinga geprägt sein. Güler könnte Bellingham im Zentrum flankieren, während die anderen absichern.
In der vergangenen Saison war Reals Offensive durch den Mbappé-Transfer aus dem Gleichgewicht geraten. Die Folge: taktische Notlösungen, wie Bellingham als Linksaußen im 4-4-2 gegen Arsenal – ohne Erfolg.
