Das Polen-Beben rund um Top-Torjäger Robert Lewandowski (36) – jetzt schlägt der Barcelona-Star zurück!
Nachdem der langjährige Bundesliga-Stürmer am Sonntag seinen vorläufigen Rücktritt aus der Nationalmannschaft bekanntgegeben hatte, erhebt er jetzt schwere Vorwürfe gegen Nationalcoach Michal Probierz (52), unter dem er nicht mehr spielen will.
[–>Im Interview mit der polnischen Seite „WP SportoweFakty“ sagt Lewandowski: „Ich bekam einen überraschenden Anruf von Michal, der mir mitteilte, dass er beschlossen habe, mir die Binde abzunehmen. Darauf war ich überhaupt nicht vorbereitet, ich habe die Kinder ins Bett gebracht. Das Gespräch dauerte ein paar Minuten.“

Kurz nach Ende des Telefonats veröffentlichte der polnische Verband eine Pressemitteilung, verkündete den neuen Kapitän der Nationalmannschaft: Piotr Zielinski (31/Inter). Lewandowski: „Es geht mir nicht um die Kapitäns-Entscheidung, sondern um die Art und Weise der Kommunikation. Der Trainer hat mein Vertrauen missbraucht.“
Nach eigenen Angaben soll der Angreifer nicht einmal die Zeit gehabt haben, mit seiner Familie darüber zu sprechen. 39 Minuten nach der nüchternen Pressemitteilung (gerade einmal zwei Sätze) verkündete Lewandowski seinen vorläufigen Rücktritt nach 158 Länderspielen.
Lewandowski teilt weiter gegen Probierz aus: „Es ist schwer für mich zu sagen, was hinter dieser Entscheidung steckt. Ich habe den Eindruck, dass der Trainer sich dem Druck der Medien gebeugt hat.“
Über die persönliche Beziehung zum Trainer: „Wer erfolgreich sein will, muss am gleichen Strang ziehen. Manchmal ist man anderer Meinung, das ist normal. Aber es sind Dinge passiert, die schwer zu vergessen sind.“

Und abschließend über eine mögliche Rückkehr: „Ich möchte in Ruhe über alles nachdenken. Heute herrscht Bedauern und Wut. Ich habe mich immer für die Nationalmannschaft eingesetzt. In dieser Hinsicht hat sich nichts geändert.“
Am Dienstagabend trifft Polen in der WM-Qualifikation auf Finnland – ohne Lewandowski.
