O Santos conseguiu uma importante vitória na noite de ontem (12) contra o Fortaleza, por 3 a 2, em plena Arena Castelão, em duelo da 12ª rodada do Campeonato Brasileiro. O resultado tirou a equipe santista da incômoda zona do rebaixamento, ficando na 15ª colocação, com 11 pontos, e é uma grande notícia para o clube antes da parada para a Copa do Mundo de Clubes, na visão de Cicinho.
Durante o programa “Jogo Aberto”, da Band, nesta sexta-feira (13), a apresentadora Renata Fan pediu a palavra do comentarista sobre a fase do Peixe. “Cicinho, o Santos vai ter um mês fora do Z-4, pensando na continuidade e provavelmente com o Neymar também”, destacou.
O ex-jogador destacou a possível mudança de ares no Santos a partir de agora. “Notícia boa. Ter essa parada, quando ninguém esperava uma vitória do Santos fora de casa, onde todos sabem que o Fortaleza lá (na Arena Castelão) é muito forte… Ir para essa parada com uma vitória, fora da zona do rebaixamento e ter ainda uma possível volta do Neymar… Os ânimos estão lá em cima”, avaliou Cicinho.
Após a vitória e a “escapada” da zona da degola, o elenco santista ganhará algumas semanas de folga antes de voltar ao batente e começar a se preparar para o próximo duelo, que será o clássico contra o Palmeiras, pela 13ª rodada do Brasileirão. A grande expectativa é que até lá Neymar já tenha assinado um novo contrato para seguir no clube – o acordo atual termina no dia 30 de junho.
Cleber Xavier fala em “melhorar tudo”
Na entrevista coletiva após a vitória no Castelão, o técnico Cleber Xavier comemorou o resultado positivo, mas avaliou que o trabalho não pode parar e que o time tem tudo para evoluir muito mais. “O Santos pode melhorar tudo. Precisamos trabalhar defensiva e ofensivamente. O mental saindo da zona (de rebaixamento) evoluiu, o físico a parada vai nos ajudar e taticamente seguimos trabalhando”, disse.
Cicinho estranha fase do Fortaleza e prevê trabalho para Vojvoda
O Fortaleza, do técnico Juan Pablo Vojvoda, vive péssima fase nestes primeiros 12 jogos do Brasileirão e só conseguiu vencer dois deles. Com o revés diante do Santos em casa, já são quatro derrotas seguidas na competição, que colocam a equipe cearense na 18ª colocação da tabela de classificação, com apenas dez pontos conquistados.
“O ano está sendo bem atípico para o Fortaleza, não tem feito grandes jogos, errando muito principalmente defensivamente. Os gols que o Fortaleza vem tomando requer muito treinamento para conseguir consertar. São erros bobos. E ainda perde muitos gols”, analisou Cicinho, durante participação no “Jogo Aberto”.
