One of the most eagerly awaited comebacks by boxing fans is that of Manny Pacquiao, the multi-champion in eight different divisions will be back in the ring. After hanging up his gloves in 2021, the famous Pac-Man began a political career in his native Philippines where he reached a position as a senator. However, Pacquiao will come into this new fight at 46 years of age and Amir Tyson, son and member of Iron Mike’s training team, has issued a serious warning to the Filipino record holder, according to the experience lived by Mike Tyson in his return to the ring against Jake Paul. “When I saw my father train I said he would win the fight by KO or technical KO in three rounds or less,” a rather bold prediction considering that Iron Mike was 58 years old and was facing an opponent almost 30 years younger.

Tyson’s family concerns over Pacquiao’s return
The concern that Tyson was putting his health at risk was widespread. Could that be why Amir Tyson seemed somewhat alarmed to see the latest footage of Manny Pacquiao’s training? It was in 2021 when Yordenis Ugas convinced Pac-Man to consider retiring for good. Four years after the defeat, Manny Pacquiao is back, ready for another championship run. While the training videos continue to excite fans, there has been a quiet rumor brewing among the shadows of critics.
Not too enthusiastic about the dramatic return of the great Filipino boxer, some are worried that Pac-Man is biting off more than he can chew. Tagging Elie Seckbach’s latest post, which showed Manny Pacquiao training alongside his stablemates, in his Instagram story, Amir Tyson wrote:

Manny Pacquiao has taken his return to the ring very seriously and is not training for an exhibition fight. His shadow boxing, speed and ultra-fast punch combination sessions reflect the seriousness with which he has taken the commitment. Despite the camaraderie and lively atmosphere in the training camp, the concern raised by Amir Tyson remains hard to ignore. In boxing, it is often said: “Power is the last thing to go”.
