O Internacional entrou na zona de rebaixamento do Brasileirão Série A após ser derrotado pelo Atlético-MG por 2 a 0, no estádio Arena MRV, em Belo Horizonte, na noite desta quinta-feira (12). Com o resultado, o Colorado estacionou nos 11 pontos e agora é o 17° colocado. Em entrevista coletiva, o técnico do clube gaúcho, Roger Machado, reconheceu que o time pode mais.
“A campanha não é digna do Inter. Os números mostram. Se explica, mas não se justifica uma campanha tão instável. Temos plena convicção de uma campanha de recuperação. Quando chegamos, também estávamos próximos da zona de rebaixamento. É a pior arrancada do Inter nos pontos corridos? É, os números não mentem, mas cabe trabalhar”, iniciou.
Internacional, de Roger Machado, vive período sem jogos
O Colorado volta a campo somente em julho. No dia 12, recebe o Vitória. O horário da partida ainda será oficializado pela Confederação Brasileira de Futebol (CBF). A distância entre um jogo e outro ocorre em virtude do Super Mundial de Clubes da Fifa.
O confronto é direto, na luta contra o rebaixamento. Isso porque Inter e Vitória têm 11 pontos cada. No entanto, o time baiano está uma posição acima porque tem um saldo de gols melhor: -4 contra –6.
“Sentimento de frustração de todos. Disse a eles que nos colocamos nesta situação, mas temos plenas condições de reverter. Será muito doloroso este processo sem jogo com o Inter nesta situação”, concluiu Roger Machado.
Outros times lutam para não cair no Brasileirão
Além do Internacional, o Z4 do Campeonato Brasileiro é formado, atualmente, por Fortaleza, Juventude e Sport. Eles têm dez, oito e três pontos respectivamente. Santos, São Paulo, Vitória e Vasco da Gama têm chances matemáticas de entrar no Z4, nas próximas rodadas.
