Nach dem Norweger Sverre Nypan (18) hat Man City das nächste Nachwuchstalent verpflichtet, das berichtet das französische Nachrichtenportal „RMC Sport“. Demnach soll Mahamadou Sangaré (18) von PSG nach Manchester kommen.

Damit angeln sich die „Skyblues“ einen starken Nachwuchsspieler. In der Youth League schoss er acht Tore in 6 Spielen, führte damit die Torschützenliste an. Gemeinsam mit dem Ukrainer Matviy Ponomarenko von Dynamo Kiew und dem Österreicher Phillip Verhounig von Leipzig.
Vergangenen November absolvierte er seine ersten beiden Länderspiele für die U18-Nationalmannschaft Frankreichs – zwei Freundschaftsspiele gegen Tunesien und Holland. Der Offensiv-Spieler kann vielseitig eingesetzt werden.
Sein Berater Mohamed Sissoko beschreibt ihn: „Ich sehe ihn als echte Nummer 9, aber er ist auch auf den Flügeln richtig gut. Es hängt vom System des Trainers ab, aber in einem 4-4-2 setze ich ihn auf die beiden Stürmer-Positionen und in einem 4-3-3 auf einen Flügel.“

David Suarez, Nachwuchstrainer bei PSG, wiederum sagt: „Er hat eine bevorzugte Zone, die sich auf der rechten Seite des Spielfelds befindet, wo er mit dem linken Fuß abschließt. Er setzt auf Schüsse aus der Mitte, wie er sie in der Youth League erzielt hat.
Und weiter: „Er hat die Fähigkeit, im Strafraum zu stehen und Flanken sogar innerhalb von 5,50 Metern zu bearbeiten. Wie Ousmane Dembélé gegen Liverpool muss er das Tempo wechseln können. (…) Er kann bis zu 36 km/h schnell werden.“
Viel lobende Worte für den Youngster und ein großer Name, an dem er gemessen wird. Sangaré wird bei Pep Guardiola beweisen müssen, was in ihm steckt.
