Für Sportvorstand Max Eberl (51) bedeutet das Transfer-Druck. Nicht nur bei den Fans, auch unter den Spielern wünscht man sich Klarheit über die Offensive in der kommenden Saison. Joshua Kimmich: „Natürlich hat man das Gefühl, dass man ein bisschen was machen könnte.“
Was Eberl konterte: „Der Jo ist auf dem Platz, und ich mache es neben dem Platz.“

Er traf Barcola und dessen Familie in Paris, als er noch bei RB Leipzig arbeitete. Kurz nach Amtsantritt beim FC Bayern schwärmte Eberl nach SPORT BILD-Informationen in der Scouting-Abteilung von Barcola und holte sich die Meinungen zum Angreifer ein.

Das Problem bei diesem Transfer: Barcola ist nicht nur extrem teuer. Sein Marktwert liegt bei 70 Millionen Euro. Sein Klub Paris Saint-Germain hat ihn bereits für unverkäuflich erklärt, und das auch sein Management wissen lassen.
Nico Williams (22) gilt eigentlich als Wunsch-Kandidat. Er wird jedoch vom FC Barcelona umworben und soll aktuell einen Wechsel dorthin favorisieren, zuletzt gab es ein Geheimtreffen mit seinen Agenten.
Kurios: Noch vor einem Jahr soll die Bayern-Scouting-Abteilung von Williams nicht überzeugt gewesen sein. Urteil: zu inkonstant, nicht effektiv genug. Inzwischen hat Eberl die Scouting-Abteilung nach seinen Vorstellungen neu aufgestellt. Sieben Scouts wurden aussortiert, mit Nils Schmadtke (36) kam ein neuer Chef. Ganz ausgeräumt sind die internen Williams-Bedenken dennoch nicht.

Die Ablösesumme liegt dank Ausstiegsklausel bei 60 Millionen Euro. Williams fordert jedoch ein Gehalt von mindestens 18 Millionen. Seine Scorerwerte bei Bilbao (5 Tore, 5 Vorlagen) sind für diesen Preis ein zu großes Risiko für die Bayern-Bosse. Kontakt besteht jedoch trotzdem weiterhin.
Bei Rafael Leão (26) gibt es ebenfalls Bedenken. Bei der AC Mailand war der Portugiese unter dem inzwischen entlassen Trainer Sérgio Conceição (50) kein Stammspieler. Auch als die portugiesische Nationalmannschaft das Final-Turnier der Nations League gewann, kam Leão nicht über die Rolle des Ergänzungsspielers hinaus. Bei Bayern sieht man Defizite in der Defensivarbeit.

Nachdem die Bemühungen der Münchner zeitweise ruhten, gibt es nun Überlegungen, die Spur wieder aufzunehmen. Grund: Es besteht die Hoffnung, dass Vincent Kompany (39) den Profi zu mehr Defensiv-Denken erziehen könnte. Zudem kann Leão neben der Flügel-Position auch als Back-up für Harry Kane (31) eingesetzt werden.
