O jornalista informou detalhes sobre a negociação entre o Timão e a empresa alemã, podendo ser o maior acordo do futebol brasileiro
O Corinthians pode ter uma mudança significativa em seus patrocinadores para os próximos 10 anos. O Timão tem em mãos uma proposta da Adidas e pode trocar o seu fornecedor esportivo após mais de duas décadas. A Nike estampa sua marca na camisa corintiana desde 2003, mas o vínculo se encerra no final deste ano.
De acordo com o jornalista Jorge Nicola, o clube paulista avançou nas negociações com a empresa alemã, em conversas iniciadas ainda com Augusto Melo, mas seu afastamento da presidência não atrapalhou o negócio. O comunicador disse que deve haver uma reunião nos próximos dias para encaminhar esse acordo.
Está quase tudo certo, o Timão só teria feito algumas exigências antes de fechar o contrato. “O Corinthians exigiu algumas garantias bancárias, mas especialmente em relação a materiais. Qualidade do material e prazos. Há uma reclamação muito grande com a Nike por falta de materiais, principalmente para mulheres e crianças, e também em relação a data das entregas que nunca eram cumpridas”, informou o jornalista.
Valor oferecido pela Adidas ao Corinthians
Ainda de acordo com Nicola, o Corinthians tem uma proposta em mãos de R$ 69 milhões por temporada, além de R$ 100 milhões de luvas, que seriam pagas ao longo do contrato, o que daria mais R$ 10 milhões por ano ao clube. Esse valor anual ainda pode chegar até R$ 100 milhões, caso algumas metas de vendas sejam batidas. Este seria, ao lado do Flamengo, o maior patrocínio de material esportivo do Brasil.
Atualmente, a Nike paga cerca de R$ 30 milhões por ano ao clube paulista, variando por conta de royalties e premiações. As partes chegaram nesse valor após a última renovação, que aconteceu em 2017, pelo então presidente Roberto de Andrade. Na época, o Alvinegro ainda recebeu mais R$ 25 milhões em luvas.
Nike pode acionar a Justiça
Por fim, Jorge Nicola trouxe o lado da Nike, informando que a empresa norte-americana deve levar o caso para a Justiça, pois entende que o vínculo com o clube foi renovado em dezembro do ano passado, até o final de 2029. A atual patrocinadora teria se beneficiado de uma cláusula de renovação automática, já que o Corinthians deveria ter sinalizado que não tinha a intenção de continuar a parceria.
