Mit etwas Glück und viel Disziplin rauschte er aber langsam an die Spitze des Feldes. Am Finaltisch hatte den Poker-Gott auf seiner Seite, nahm einen Spieler nach dem anderen vom Tisch. Selbst vor Poker-Legende Phil Ivey machte er keinen Halt, nahm dem Ami immer wieder Chips ab. Wahnsinn!
Dass Weiss vorne mitmischt, ist schon eine große Überraschung. In seiner Karriere konnte er bisher rund 300.000 Euro bei Live-Turnieren gewinnen. Sein bestes Ergebnis liegt bei rund 150.000 Euro. Beides hat er bei diesem Event mit einem Schlag übertroffen, hat jetzt schon 467.000 Euro sicher. Nach einem 8. und einem 11. Platz kann er jetzt das ganz große Ding drehen.
