Der FC Liverpool ist offenbar scharf auf Marc Guehi (24) von Crystal Palace. Trainer Arne Slot (46) fahndet weiter nach einem neuen Innenverteidiger – auch, weil ein Wechsel von Abwehr-Juwel Jarrel Quansah (22) zu Bayer Leverkusen im Raum steht. Laut der britischen „Daily Mail“ beschäftigt sich der englische Meister intensiv mit Guehi. Der 23-fache englische Nationalspieler hat Palace in der abgelaufenen Saison mit zum FA-Cup-Titel geführt und könnte jetzt den nächsten Schritt machen.

Denn: Guehi hat nur noch bis 2026 Vertrag beim Londoner Klub, wäre im nächsten Sommer ablösefrei. Will Crystal Palace ihn noch zu Geld machen, ist jetzt die letzte Gelegenheit.
Nicht nur wegen des wahrscheinlichen Quansah-Abgangs ist Guehi für Liverpool interessant, auch die ungeklärte Situation um Ibrahima Konaté (26) spricht für einen Transfer. Der Ex-Leipziger Konaté ist – wie Guehi – in seinem letzten Vertragsjahr und wird seit einiger Zeit immer wieder mit einem Wechsel zu Real Madrid in Verbindung gebracht.
Dank der starken Saison mit dem Gewinn der englischen Meisterschaft kann Liverpool in diesem Sommer auf große Shoppingtour gehen. Der Transfer von Jeremie Frimpong (24) ist bereits fix, die Verpflichtung von Florian Wirtz (22) ist nur noch Formsache. Wird Guehi der nächste Mega-Transfer der Reds?
