Liverpool verstärkt sich fleißig weiter!
Nach der Verpflichtung von Jeremie Frimpong (24) und der anstehenden Verkündung des Transfers von Florian Wirtz (22) hat Liverpool einen weiteren Spieler verpflichtet, meldet „Sky“: den Rechtsverteidiger Milos Kerkez (21) vom AFC Bournemouth.
[–>Schon zu Beginn der Woche sagte Kerkez‘ Vater gegenüber „Super Indirektno“, dass nur ein Wechsel nach Liverpool infrage kommt. Allerdings konnte sich Liverpool zunächst mit Bournemouth nicht auf die Ablösesumme einigen. Bournemouth wollte mindestens 45 Mio. Pfund (knapp 53 Mio. Euro). Ein Preis, den Liverpool nicht zahlen wollte.
Laut Angaben des Portals „Goal“ konnten die „Reds“ den Preis auf 40 Mio. Pfund (knapp 47 Mio. Euro) drücken.
Nach dieser Einigung soll alles ganz schnell gehen. Nächste Woche soll der Ungar zum Medizincheck an die Anfield Road kommen. Genaue Details sind noch nicht bekannt, es wird allerdings angenommen, dass er einen langfristigen Vertrag erhält. Bei den „Reds“ soll er Andrew Robertson (31) beerben.
Grund für den Wechsel an die Anfield Road: Liverpool Sportdirektor Richard Hughes. Der war schon für Kerkez‘ Wechsel nach Bournemouth verantwortlich.

Kerkez war im Sommer 2023 für 17,87 Mio. Euro von Alkmaaar zu den „Cherries“ gekommen. In der vergangenen Saison stand er 38 Mal in der Premier League in der Startelf. Wenig überraschend, dass Bournemouth den linken Verteidiger nicht so einfach ziehen lassen wollten. Einen Nachfolger haben sie aber mittlerweile verpflichtet: Adrien Truffert (23), der aus Rennes auf die Insel kommt.
Mit Dominik Szoboslai (24) trifft Kerkez bei Liverpool auf seinen ungarischen Nationalmannschaftskollegen – der hat dem anderen Neuzugang, Wirtz, bereits eine deutliche Ansage gemacht. Und noch einen Ungarn haben die „Reds“ kürzlich verpflichtet. Ármin Pécsi (20) wird Ersatztorhüter.
