Vivendo situação complicada em termos financeiros, Galo pode ver saídas importantes como forma de trazer alívio ao clube
Apesar do alto investimento em reforços nesta temporada, o Atlético-MG ainda sofre com o momento complicado em suas finanças, com dívidas e cobranças feitas ao clube. Alternativas estão sendo buscadas pela diretoria e uma delas poderá ter que se ‘livrar’ de jogadores de seu elenco.
Segundo a informação do jornalista Jorge Nicola em seu canal no Youtube, o Galo pondera mexer no elenco para aliviar a situação de seu caixa. Não há informação se já há uma ‘lista’ de possíveis nomes a deixar o clube, mas se especula que há a possibilidade de ‘atletas importantes’ serem considerados para sair.
Com as dispensas, a principal meta atleticana seria reduzir a folha salarial do elenco profissional. Na informação de Nicola, hoje o Atlético-MG gasta R$ 19 milhões mensais com salários de seus atletas. O gasto está entre os maiores do país, mas tem dificultado bastante a situação das finanças do clube, que necessita de dinheiro em caixa para resolver ao menos parte dos problemas.
O clube prevê reduzir a folha salarial para R$ 15 milhões, o que geraria cerca de R$ 4 milhões economizados por mês. A janela de transferências do meio do ano poderia ser um fator a ajudar o Galo a conseguir a intenção, ao menos em parte, em liberar atletas que geram alto custo para a equipe em um momento de restrição necessária.

As saídas de jogadores podem ser uma solução momentânea para os atleticanos, que estão buscando novas fontes de receita. O grande desejo dos investidores da SAF é achar alguém que possa colocar dinheiro, sendo pela compra de ações ou outras vias, segundo Nicola, para aliviar o caixa do clube neste momento de dificuldade, no qual mais uma vez são notados atrasos de pagamentos a jogadores.
O que também está sendo estudado é que os chamados ‘4Rs’, empresários que são acionistas majoritários da SAF, terem que fazer mais aportes financeiros. Apesar de algumas especulações sobre interessados em investir no clube, por enquanto não há negociações em andamento para definir o futuro do clube.
