Liverpool droht der nächste schmerzhafte Abgang!
Abwehr-Star Ibrahima Konaté (26) hat laut britischen Medien das erste Vertragsangebot der Reds abgelehnt – und das offenbar nicht ohne Grund.

Der Verteidiger, der in der vergangenen Saison unter Trainer Arne Slot (46) eine zentrale Rolle spielte, steht nur noch ein Jahr unter Vertrag. In fast allen Premier-League-Partien stand er in der Startelf – ein klares Zeichen seiner Bedeutung.
Die Sorge an der Anfield Road wächst: Lässt Konaté seinen Vertrag auslaufen, könnte er – wie fast schon bei Trent Alexander-Arnold geschehen – ablösefrei gehen. Im Fall Alexander-Arnold konnte Sportdirektor Richard Hughes in letzter Minute noch rund 10 Millionen Euro von Real Madrid heraushandeln – für einen Wechsel vor der Klub-WM.
Auch bei Konaté sollen die Königlichen interessiert sein. Zudem gilt Atlético Madrid als heißer Kandidat für Linksverteidiger Andy Robertson. Es droht also ein doppelter Verlust in Richtung Madrid!
Liverpool will mit Konaté weiter verhandeln, doch klare Schmerzgrenzen sind gesetzt. Gleichzeitig sondiert der Klub den Markt: Marc Guehi (Crystal Palace) und Jarrad Branthwaite (Everton) stehen auf dem Zettel – wobei Letzterer wegen der Rivalität mit Everton ein heikles Thema wäre.
Besonders brisant: Wegen Konatés starker Leistungen verlässt Talent Jarell Quansah den Klub – für rund 30 Millionen Euro geht er zu Bayer Leverkusen, Bonuszahlungen können folgen. Außerdem haben sich die Reds eine Rückkauf-Option auf Quansah gesichert. Der Passus wird in Quansahs Bayer-Vertrag bis 2030 verankert.

O técnico da seleção brasileira Carlo Ancelotti convocou neste domingo o goleiro John, que atua pelo Nottingham Forest, da Inglaterra, para os jogos do Brasil contra Coreia do Sul e Japão, nos dias 10 e 14 de outubro, respectivamente. Ele vai ocupar o lugar de Ederson, do Fenerbahçe, desconvocado por causa de uma lesão sofrida no treinamento deste sábado por sua equipe. Carlo Ancelotti e sua comissão técnica chegaram no início da noite deste domingo a Seul (manhã no Brasil).
