Apresentador critica péssima atuação do Verdão no empate contra o Inter Miami e destaca erros de Abel Ferreira na escalação da equipe
A atuação do Palmeiras no empate contra o Inter Miami, por 2 a 2, ontem (23), na última rodada do Grupo A da Copa do Mundo de Clubes da Fifa, garantiu ao time paulista a classificação em primeiro lugar, mas deixou ao ex-jogador Craque Neto a sensação de que a equipe comandada por Abel Ferreira será eliminada nas oitavas de final do torneio, contra o Botafogo.
Durante o programa “Os Donos da Bola”, na Band, nesta terça-feira (24), o apresentador destacou que o Fogão vem atuando melhor que o Verdão. “Se jogar do mesmo jeito que jogou (contra o Inter Miami), o Botafogo vai passar. O Botafogo vai passar, primeiro, porque é um time que está jogando muito mais, segundo, porque está sendo muito bem escalado”, avaliou.
Para a partida, marcada para este sábado (28), às 13h (horário de Brasília), no estádio Lincoln Financial Field, na Filadélfia, o Glorioso não poderá contar com o o volante Gregore, que levou o segundo cartão amarelo e terá que cumprir suspensão automática. “Não tem o Gregore? Tudo bem. É só um jogador”, minimizou Craque Neto.
Culpa das más atuações é de Abel Ferreira?
A péssima atuação do Palmeiras contra o Inter Miami foi comparada ainda pelo apresentador com as recentes eliminações do time no ano passado nas competições mata-mata como a Copa do Brasil e Libertadores. Segundo Craque Neto, o responsável pelas saídas precoces nos torneios é o técnico Abel Ferreira, que tem escalado mal a equipe alviverde.
“Quem está fazendo o Palmeiras não passar das oitavas é o treinador. Já aconteceu na Libertadores. Tudo que ele fez nos últimos jogos foi besteira”, apontou o ex-jogador, lembrando ainda que na vitória diante do Al Ahly, o Verdão também não teve uma grande atuação.
Assim como o apresentador do “Os Donos da Bola”, o ex-goleiro Velloso, comentarista do programa destacou os frequentes erros cometidos por Abel Ferreira na escolha dos 11 jogadores que tem iniciado as partidas do Palmeiras. “Eu não estou entendendo o Abel. Eu estava acompanhando o jogo, não entendi a escalação”, iniciou.
“E no final do jogo o Abel falou que a culpa foi dele, que errou. Mas não é só em um jogo que ele está errando. Ele vem numa sucessão de erros que normalmente a gente não vê ele errar”, continuou Velloso, relembrando também a derrota recente do Verdão em casa, no Allianz Parque, contra o Flamengo, antes da parada do Brasileirão por causa do Mundial de Clubes.
“O jogo contra o Flamengo, que era o mais importante do Palmeiras no primeiro turno, time líder do Brasileirão, e ele põe o Mayke de ponta direita. Ok, ele já usou o Mayke ali, mas nesse momento é o setor que ele mais tem opções. Tem Estêvão, Felipe Anderson, Allan… Ele vai de Mayke em um jogo que o Palmeiras precisa ganhar?”, questionou.
Velloso também criticou a insistência na escalação do meia Raphael Veiga, que não vive boa fase. “O Veiga nesse momento não pode ser titular do Palmeiras. Ele parece sem confiança. O Veiga que estamos vendo não é que estamos acostumados a ver. Não dá para recuperar um jogador dentro do Mundial. Bota quem está bem no momento”, finalizou Velloso.
