Palmeiras e Botafogo vão medir forças no Mundial (Vitor Silva/Botafogo)
Jornalista avalia que, após encarar dois gigantes europeus, o Glorioso traz uma grande pressão ao rival nas oitavas de final do torneio
André Rizek, ao projetar Palmeiras x Botafogo, vê um cenário distinto no duelo pelo Mundial. Enquanto o time alviverde flertou com uma eliminação precoce contra o Inter Miami, o Glorioso, mesmo com a derrota contra o Atlético de Madrid, saiu fortalecido da fase de grupos. Neste cenário, o “respiro” após o clube carioca vencer o PSG e ficar à frente dos Colchoneros foi mencionado no discurso.
De acordo com Rizek, o Botafogo está acima de Porto, Al Ahly e Inter Miami, adversários do Palmeiras ao longo da fase de grupos do Mundial. Levando em conta os altos e baixos dos três primeiros jogos, o apresentador considera que existe uma maior pressão atrelada ao time de Abel Ferreira.
“Dá para afirmar que o Palmeiras vai enfrentar o adversário mais difícil até aqui? Pegou Porto, Al Ahly e Inter Miami, Eu tenho dificuldades de estabelecer um parâmetro entre Botafogo e Inter Miami. Não sei qual posição o Inter Miami estaria no Brasil. Eu sei que, jogado o que jogaram Messi e Suárez, eles fariam diferença em qualquer clube brasileiro.”, disse Rizek, no Seleção SporTV.
“Eu opino que o Palmeiras vai enfrentar o adversário mais difícil que ele pegou no Mundial. O Palmeiras vai ter que subir de rendimento para avançar. Agora, o Botafogo vai enfrentar um time brasileiro, que ele conhece. Dá um respiro para o Botafogo e bota uma pressão no Palmeiras no sentido de falar ‘vai ter que subir de rendimento’. Na teoria, o Botafogo vai trazer mais dificuldades que os times que o Palmeiras enfrentou.” completou.
Rizek não condena derrota do Botafogo
Em vantagem, o Botafogo se deu ao luxo de perder para o Atlético de Madrid e seguir adiante no Mundial. Compreendendo que não é fácil enfrentar dois clubes europeus em sequência, Rizek vê uma queda de rendimento natural, mas o confronto não deve ser levado como um enfraquecimento capaz de facilitar a vida do Palmeiras.
“Com todo respeito, o Atlético de Madrid é superior ao Botafogo. Só o Julián Álvarez custou R$ 480 milhões. No banco, estava o Griezmann, campeão do mundo com a França. O Botafogo enfrentou dois (europeus) em sequência. Teve que correr atrás do PSG, o melhor time do mundo, imagina o desgaste mental e físico. Dias depois, enfrentou uma equipe tão forte, é natural que tivesse uma queda.”, opinou.
Renato Paiva celebra classificação
Embora tenha sido eliminado antes do mata-mata, o Atlético de Madrid possui um dos elencos mais caros do Mundial. Lembrando o status do clube espanhol, Renato Paiva celebrou os resultados do Botafogo no “grupo da morte”, algo que não era cogitado antes da bola rolar nos Estados Unidos.
“O Atlético de Madrid é um elenco fortíssimo, equipe top da Europa e acaba por não ser o jogo que queríamos em termos de resultados. Fica a classificação. E agora vou ser incisivo e irônico: se o Renato Paiva tivesse dito no Brasil que passaríamos por esse grupo, ele seria esculachado à quinta da casa por todo mundo. Mas fizemos o que ninguém estava esperando e temos que valorizar isso para o torcedor do Botafogo, que tem que estar orgulhoso desse grupo e do futebol brasileiro também.”, externou.
