Der FC Bayern führt aktuell einen Millionen-Kampf um seine Zukunft.
Nach SPORT BILD-Informationen hängt in diesem Sommer vom Erfolg oder Misserfolg des Transfergeschäfts nicht nur die Qualität des Kaders ab.
Zwischenzeitlich drohte dem Klub erstmals in seiner AG-Bilanz für das Geschäftsjahr ein Minus.
Ein Hauptgrund sind die hohen Gehaltskosten der Spieler, die Jahr für Jahr mächtig auf den Etat drücken. Der XXL-Posten kann u. a. dank der harten Arbeit der Merchandising- und Marketing-Abteilung immer wieder ausgeglichen werden. Nicht umsonst schlug Rummenigge zuletzt in der „Welt am Sonntag“ eindringlich Geld-Alarm, sagte: „Das große Problem sind die hohen Gehälter. Das spürt auch der FC Bayern. Im Hinblick auf Gehälter unserer Spieler haben wir – das muss man selbstkritisch sagen – etwas großzügig gearbeitet.“

Im aktuellen Geschäftsjahr schien dieser Millionen-Kampf zwischenzeitlich erstmals verloren zu gehen. Zu Jahresbeginn herrschte spürbare Nervosität an der Säbener Straße. In Direktoren-Meetings und internen Mails soll in der Halbjahres-Kalkulation ein deutliches Minus im zweistelligen Millionen-Bereich prognostiziert worden sein. Neue Werbe-Partner (u. a. Meine Volksbank Raiffeisenbank eG, Celonis, EA Sports) würden dieser negativen Bilanz helfen. Um sie allein ins Plus zu bringen, soll es aber nicht gereicht haben. Der neue Mega-Vertrag mit Trikotsponsor Telekom, der über fünf Jahre bis zu maximal 325 Mio. Euro bringen soll, gilt erst ab 2027.

Noch im abgelaufenen Geschäftsjahr 2023/24 betrug der Konzerngewinn nach Steuern 43,1 Millionen Euro. Davon soll der FC Bayern aktuell weit entfernt sein. Vor allem die Einnahmen aus der Klub-WM helfen den Bayern jetzt jedoch aus den roten Zahlen. Der Meister hat bereits rund 40 Millionen Euro aus Fifa-Geldern kassiert. Neben den Einnahmen konnte nur noch ein Faktor das Geschäftsergebnis für das Jahr 2024/25 aufbessern: Transfer-Erlöse. Deshalb war der Verkauf von Mathys Tel (20/ für 35 Mio. Euro zu Tottenham) so wichtig – noch vor Ablauf des aktuellen Geschäftsjahres und somit relevant für das Ergebnis.
[–>Auffällig: Während andere Top-Klubs richtig auf dem Transfermarkt zuschlagen, ist Bayern zurückhaltend. Dabei braucht der Kader Verstärkung – denn die absolute Spitze Europas rückt derzeit gefühlt weiter weg, als dass sie näher kommt. Das zeigen auch die Zahlen: Der FC Liverpool hat bereits für Florian Wirtz (22) und Jeremie Frimpong (24) 180 Mio. Euro investiert. Manchester City hat nach einem titellosen Jahr 130 Mio. Euro für Ablösen ausgegeben – Real Madrid knapp 120 Mio. Euro. Wirtz hätten die Bayern ebenfalls gern gehabt. Ein Transfer des Nationalspielers wäre aber ein finanzieller Kraftakt und auch nicht mehr vom Festgeld-Konto zu finanzieren gewesen.
