Mundial de Clubes envolve 32 times participantes nos Estados Unidos (Divulgação – Fifa)
A fase de grupos do Mundial de Clubes terminou para as equipes brasileiras nesta quarta-feira (25), com o empate sem gols do Fluminense frente ao Mamelodi Sundowns, o que garantiu 100% de representatividade do futebol nacional nas oitavas de final do torneio, após Flamengo, Botafogo e Palmeiras já terem confirmado seus respectivos passaportes, e mais de R$ 261 milhões em cotas totais.
Em termos de rendimento nos três primeiros duelos da competição, o Flamengo embolsou a maior bonificação ofertada pela Fifa, com as duas vitórias e um empate, alcançando sete pontos no Grupo D. Pelo desempenho, o rubro-negro levantou R$ 27,5 milhões de bônus, um índice de R$ 5,5 milhões a mais no comparativo com os outros três times brasileiros. O Mais Querido e o Palmeiras terminaram como líderes nas suas respectivas chaves.
Premiação dos brasileiros detalhada
Vale lembrar que, além do extra faturado pelos resultados computados na fase de grupos, cada um dos representantes nacionais embolsaram mais R$ 41,9 milhões em cotas pelo avanço à próxima fase do Mundial de Clubes. O montante é somado a outros R$ 85 milhões que cada um recebeu apenas por estar entre os 32 participantes do torneio (esta premiação variou de acordo com o continente).

Quando começa o mata-mata do Mundial de Clubes?
Com a fase de grupos sendo finalizada nesta quinta-feira (26), com quatro jogos, o Mundial de Clubes terá um dia de recesso, e iniciará a disputa das oitavas de final no próximo sábado (28), com o duelo brasileiro Palmeiras x Botafogo abrindo as atividades. Os outros dois representantes nacionais jogam nos dois dias seguintes, o Flamengo, de Filipe Luís, atua no domingo, e o Flu na segunda.
Os duelos das quartas de final serão realizados a partir da sexta-feira (04), podendo ter três ou apenas um time brasileiro vivo no páreo pelo título. Quem avançar à próxima fase do mata-mata vai abocanhar mais de R$ 71 milhões em premiação.
