In a relationship of famous people, for example, where one is a big pop star and the other a top NFL player, you might think all eyes would be on the pop star, even more now that we are talking about Taylor Swift.

But still, it is clear that the 14-time Grammy winner is more than happy to make that spotlight to shine over Travis Kelce.

Taylor Swift caught talking about Travis Kelce’s mother during Travis event

At a recent event in Nashville called ‘Tight End University‘, Swift got the attention not just for singing “Shake It Off” by surprise, but for how she backed Kelce all night.

Their love and affection is well-known

Sources from ClutchPoints and Sportskeeda noted that Swift “lights up” when Kelce stands out and loves to let him be take the center stage during their public appearences.

Both 35, they held hands on the red carpet at the “Tight Ends & Friends” concert and later danced at the afterparty at Brooklyn Bowl. In a clip that went viral, Swift is seen running her hand through Kelce’s hair as they move to her hit song-a scene fans called both initmate and heartwarming.

A friend of the couplw told PEOPLE that Swift is proud to let him shine, a sign of the deep respect in their bond. Even with her huge fan base, Swift seems to enjoy times when the focus moves to Kelce, now a big name by himself.

Taylor Swift’s shows never disappoint

The event was also Swift’s first live “Shake It Off” since getting back her music rights, making the evening even more special. Kelce cheered from the crowd, later yelling on the NFL’s Instagram: “Turn me up Tay Tay!!

Their time at Tight End University showed not just love but built mutual respect, shared joy, and strong support. As Swift gets ready for her next tour and Kelce for the 2025 NFL season, they seem to handle fame and love with ease.

Before she began the song, Swift gave a warm and special shoutout: “We’d like to dedicate this to our favorite players who are going to play. And these are the tight ends.

Offstage, Kelce could be seen full of emotion, cheering, dancing, and yelled “Hell yeah, darlin” as she sang. Fans caught him glowing with pride in a cowboy hat looking totally in love.

Not the first time

They also made what fans are calling their first red carpet show as a couple the night before the event. They came together, posed for pictures, and shared a kiss for all to see. Later, they danced to “Love Story” at the afterparty, with Swift resting her head on Kelce’s shoulder, becoming a moment fans called “pure rom-com energy.

These sweet moments are only the most recent in a line of warm scenes the couple has shown in the last year. From Kelce lifting Swift up high at Coachella so she could view the stage, to their hugs after Chiefs’ wins, to Swift switching the words of “Karma in her Eras Tour to talk about her “man on the Chiefs,” their love tale has played out like a real story.
