Der Williams-Poker bekommt ein neues Kapitel!
Dieses Mal im Fokus: Barça-Präsident Joan Laporta (62). Der teilte nun gegen Athletic Bilbao aus. Denn während sich Barcelona und Nico Williams (22) eigentlich einig sind, unternimmt Bilbao alles, um den Transfer zu verhindern.

Der Williams-Poker stockt, weil Bilbao nicht glaubt, dass Barça die „1:1-Regel“ einhält und genug Transfereinnahmen hat, um die Ablösesumme zu finanzieren.
Gegenüber „Mundo Deportivo“ ergänzte er: „Ich möchte nicht von Verfolgung sprechen. Es gibt Schwierigkeiten, man legt uns Hindernisse in den Weg und wir lernen gerade, wie man sich in Hindernisparcours behauptet. Es geht darum, hart zu arbeiten, um Hindernisse zu überwinden und die Ziele zu erreichen, die wir uns gesetzt haben.“

Laporta dazu: „Wir arbeiten daran, die 1:1-Regel einzuhalten. (…) Alle Schritte wurden genommen, um Transfers normal zu vollziehen. (…) Wir müssen uns an bestimmte Parameter halten, was wir auch tun und abhängig davon, werden wir in der Lage sein, zwei Spieler zu holen oder zu registrieren, die wir wollen.“

Über Bilbao sagt er außerdem: „Wir haben keine schlechte Beziehung. Ja, es gab eine Reihe von Missverständnissen und Ereignissen in den vergangenen Jahren, aber man kann nicht sagen, wir haben eine schlechte Beziehung.“
