Mezi kanoistkami se Satková dělila o první příčku s Němkou Andreou Herzogovou. Ve finále bude i starší ze sester Satkových Martina, která měla v kvalifikační jízdě čtvrtý čas. Třetí Češka Adriana Morenová se zařadila s velkou ztrátou na 23. místo. Finále kanoistek bude bez australské hvězdy Jessiky Foxové, která skončila se dvěma trestnými sekundami šestnáctá.
Poprvé se mezi kajakáři dostal v této sezoně SP do finále úřadující mistr Evropy Prskavec. Olympijský šampion z Tokia se ve zkráceném závodě prosadil v kvalifikaci na 10. místo. Ještě lépe si vedl Jan Bárta, který postoupil ze druhé příčky. Jakub Krejčí obsadil se dvěma trestnými sekundami až 28. místo.
Postoupila kompletní trojice kanoistů. Vedle Prskavce, který si finále vyjel šestým časem, uspěl i pátý Vojtěch Heger a jedenáctý Adam Král.
