Fluminense eliminou a Inter de Milão no Mundial (MARCELO GONÇALVES/FLUMINENSE FC)
André Rizek não poupou elogios após o Fluminense atingir um feito extraordinário no Mundial. Levando em conta o esforço coletivo para o triunfo sobre a Inter de Milão, o jornalista fez questão de enaltecer o empenho impressionante ao longo dos 90 minutos. Como o Tricolor não possui grandes estrelas à disposição de Renato Gaúcho, o conjunto foi atrelado à classificação histórica, já que o coletivo prevaleceu em campo.

Fluminense foi subestimado? Rizek cita “patinho feio”
Menos badalado que Flamengo, Palmeiras e Botafogo, o Fluminense, logo de cara, mostrou que não deve ser subestimado. Batendo de frente com o Borussia Dortmund, a equipe de Renato Gaúcho não cometeu os mesmos no mata-mata. Neste cenário, o impacto visto no Mundial fez Rizek mencionar o status de “patinho feio” do Tricolor, algo que não condiz com o desempenho dentro das quatro linhas.
“O Fluminense chegou aqui como o patinho feio dos brasileiros .Acaba de mandar pra casa o vice-campeão da Europa. Um feito ABSURDO. Na raça. Na bola. Foi a coisa mais emocionante que eu vi um clube brasileiro fazer em muito tempo! Parabéns, Fluzão.”, externou.
Assim como o Flamengo encarou o Bayern de Munique nas oitavas do Mundial, o Fluminense precisou enfrentar outro gigante do futebol europeu. Embora a Inter de Milão não tenha Inzaghi no comando da equipe, Rizek quis destacar que, recentemente, Lautaro Martínez, Barella e companhia eliminaram o Barcelona da Champions League.
“Essa Inter também fez a “surpresa” de marcar 7 gols em dois jogos contra o Barcelona. De ter chegado a duas finais de Champions em três anos. Respeitosamente… opino que querem diminuir o adversário do Flu, pra aumentar o que era o desafio do Fla. A final da Champions não traduz o que é esse time. E vou além. Só perderam o Italiano porque estavam divididos com a Champions. A Inter é um timaço.”, opinou.
