El segundo día de entrenamiento en el estadio José Antonio Samaranch de Lausana tuvo dos nombres propios: Aitana Bonmatí y Cata Coll. La primera, que llegó en la noche del lunes a tierras helvéticas tras estar ingresada por una meningitis vírica, se dejó ver en el gimnasio en el inicio del entrenamiento y se probó sobre el verde madurada la sesión de trabajo. La guardameta, quejada de una amigdalitis, no arrancó el entrenamiento junto a sus dos compañeras bajo palos, si bien luego sí que saltó al terreno de juego para ejercitarse de cara al debut de España en esta Eurocopa el próximo jueves ante Portugal.
Sesión de entrenamiento a puerta abierta de España en Lausana
Aitana sigue evolucionando favorablemente. La dos veces Balón de Oro se vistió de corto en su primer día en Lausana. La futbolista, con supervisión médica en todo momento, comenzó el entrenamiento en el gimnasio donde se dejó ver en la bicicleta estática y la cinta. Pruebas de esfuerzo que ayudarán a valorar el estado físico tras unos días sin carga alguna. Después, la futbolista saltó al verde para continuar el trabajo, a menor ritmo que sus compañeras, y testar su puesta a punto.
Aunque si por la jugadora fuera todo volvería a la normalidad y se vería disponible para el partido ante Portugal el jueves, los servicios médicos federativos prefieren mantener la cautela y seguir unos pasos lógicos con una de sus estrellas. No quieren hablar de plazos y mucho menos forzarlo. Aunque -de momento- no está descartada para el debut continental, lo lógico sería que entrara en el equipo paulatinamente. Lo que sí parece claro es que no será relevada en la convocatoria y contará entre las 23 jugadoras que representarán a España en esta Eurocopa.

El caso de Cata tampoco parece preocupante. La jugadora del Barcelona padece una amigdalitis que le dificulta tragar y le genera malestar, pero de la que también evoluciona favorablemente. Después de ausentarse del primer entrenamiento en Lausane, la guardameta saltó al verde una vez que los medios de comunicación abandonaron las gradas del recinto. Habrá que ver si llega a tiempo para que Montse Tomé cuente con ella para el partido de Portugal o si la seleccionadora prefiere dar la alternativa a Esther Sullastres o Adriana Nanclares.
No son las únicas ‘tocadas’ de la selección. Al término de la sesión se pudo a ver a Vicky López con hielo en el tobillo izquierdo -después de un golpe sufrido en el entrenamiento del lunes-; María Méndez con hielo en su rodilla derecha; o Irene Paredes con cintas kinesiológicas en sus cuádriceps. Ninguna de ellas deberían tener problemas para estar disponibles en el primer choque.
La selección española volverá al trabajo este miércoles, ya en el Stadion Wankdorf de Berna, recinto donde debutará el jueves ante Portugal.
