Shedeur Sanders could play with Quinshon Judkins who is set to be an elite running back with the Cleveland Browns

The Cleveland Browns recently suffered the loss of a player who, until recent seasons, was the driving force of their offense, but they should remain calm because the significant void left by Nick Chubb in this organization could be well filled by Quinshon Judkins, a player acquired through the NFL Draft.

Chiefs announce unexpected retirement amid Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce uphill preseason grind

In fact, many projections favor the former Ohio State running back, who could prove to be a true steal in the Draft, though that remains to be confirmed.

Quinshon Judkins is ready to shine in the NFL with the Browns

After winning a national championship with the Buckeyes, Quinshon Judkins ranks among the top 20 running backs in Fantasy Football, serving a dual purpose for those who participate in this competition to keep him on their radar.

Fantasy Pros created a list of the top running backs for the upcoming season, and Judkins landed at No. 17, making him the second-highest-rated rookie, only behind Ashton Jeanty, another rookie selected by the Las Vegas Raiders.

This list is led by players like Bijan Robinson and Jahmyr Gibbs, in a ranking of 24 running backs where Judkins was rated higher than established NFL players like James Cook and Breece Hall.

In the Cleveland Browns, Quinshon Judkins will share the backfield with Dylan Sampson, who also arrived via the Draft from Tennessee. This won’t affect the former Ohio State star’s performance, as he grew accustomed to sharing the rushing attack during his college career, though he’s expected to handle the majority of carries in 2025.

In his final college season, Judkins shared the backfield with TreVeyon Henderson, forming one of the most dangerous duos in the country, a tandem that combined to lead Ohio State to a national championship.

The Cleveland Browns have yet to decide on their starting quarterback, but it seems the running back position is well covered.

Only Jalen Hurts has hit that mark in recent seasons, and Hurts accomplished it with multiple “Tush Pushes.”  Dart is averaging 20.3 fantasy points per start, which is typically suitable for a mid-to-low-end QB1. Browns’ plan to develop Dillon Gabriel and Shedeur Sanders may face an insurmountable problem

When the Cleveland Browns selected Dillon Gabriel and Shedeur Sanders in the third and fifth rounds of the 2025 NFL Draft, they sent several messages. One of them: Talented quarterbacks are valuable assets worth a team’s investment. Throwing darts, plural, at the quarterback question increases the chance of hitting at the most impactful position in the game.AdvertisementAdvertisementAdvertisementThe philosophical assertion gave coaches and executives around the league an expectation that at least one rookie quarterback would start for the Browns in 2025. Few expected Gabriel or Sanders to start Week 1 with veterans Joe Flacco and Kenny Pickett in the room. But the 2025 class would get its chance, league voices figured, whether as a result of the veteran’s play or as a result of piling losses that made prioritizing the future a reasonable top priority. That became still more guaranteed when the […]
