Zinho esbanjou sinceridade ao comparar os jogos de Flamengo e Fluminense nas oitavas de final do Mundial. Enquanto o time de Filipe Luís manteve o padrão ofensivo para encarar o Bayern de Munique, o Tricolor das Laranjeiras, com três zagueiros e sendo mais conservador, mas não deixou de atacar a Inter de Milão. Neste cenário, a decisão de Renato Gaúcho, segundo o tetracampeão do mundo, serviu de “lição” para o jovem técnico do clube rival.
Na visão de Zinho, Filipe Luís não precisava manter uma convicção inalterável para enfrentar o Bayern de Munique. Aproveitando os erros cometidos no sistema defensivo do Flamengo, os alemães largaram na frente com dois gols ao longo de 10 minutos, situação determinante para o triunfo por 4 a 2.
“O Fluminense foi competente , cirúrgico e obediente taticamente. Entendeu que a equipe adversária jogava em um nível de mais exigência, é o atual vice-campeão da Champions League. Tomou uma pancada do PSG, mas chegou na final tirando grandes equipes. O Fluminense entendeu isso tudo.”, disse Zinho, em live da Placar TV, no YouTube.
“O Fluminense foi maravilhoso. Parabéns ao Renato Gaúcho e aos atletas que abraçaram e se comprometeram com aquilo que o treinador queria. O Fluminense deu uma lição para alguns outros times. Eu vou ser bem direto: deu uma lição no Flamengo e ao Filipe Luís, que disse que não ia mudar o jeito de jogar. ‘O Flamengo tem uma postura e não posso mudar’. Pegou o avião para vir embora.”, acrescentou.
Planejamento de Renato Gaúcho
Decidindo escalar três zagueiros, Renato Gaúcho trouxe mais solidez ao sistema defensivo do Fluminense. Como houve um equilíbrio tático que dificultou a vida da Inter de Milão, a escolha do técnico em modificar o esquema e trazer uma novidade em campo foi aprovada por Zinho.
“O Renato Gaúcho mudou o sistema de jogo. ‘Ah, mas se perde, iriam falar que jogou com três zagueiros’. Tá bom, mas ele tinha que fazer algo diferente. Todo mundo diz que os europeus são as melhores equipes, têm os maiores investimentos e jogadores mais acostumados de altíssimo nível. O Renato Gaúcho foi perfeito em criar o fato novo e fazer alguma coisa diferente para inibir o poder ofensivo do adversário, que tinha opções técnicas melhores, para igualar de alguma forma.”, afirmou.
Zinho valoriza Jhon Arias
Assumindo o status de protagonista, Jhon Arias é um dos candidatos ao prêmio de craque do Mundial. Diante da conduta exemplar dentro e fora dos gramados, Zinho considera que Renato Gaúcho tem um grande privilégio em dirigir um jogador capaz de, independente da posição, contribuir de maneira decisiva.
“Não é surpresa nenhuma. Há algum tempo ele é um dos melhores meias do futebol brasileiro. Ele pode jogar por dentro, aberto pela direita, ele se movimenta no campo… eu tenho repetido isso: o Arias é aquele jogador que o treinador ama porque ele participa nas três fases do jogo. Ele constrói o jogo, participa de assistências e faz gols também. É um dos melhores desse Mundial. Não é muito badalado, ele é mais introvertido, não é de ficar arrumando briga. O negócio dele é jogar bola, e ele joga muito bem.”, exaltou.
