Vom Barça-Wunderkind zum Abschied durch die Hintertür: Ansu Fati wechselt zum AS Monaco – und könnte womöglich nie mehr das Trikot des FC Barcelona tragen.
Der junge Angreifer hatte dem Wechsel bereits kurz nach Saisonende zugestimmt. Er wusste, dass er in Barcelona keine echte Zukunft mehr hat – und er wollte auch nicht bleiben, nur um auf der Bank zu sitzen.

Vor allem sein Umfeld fühlt sich vom Klub im Stich gelassen, schreibt die spanische „Sport“. Im vergangenen Sommer habe es von Hansi Flick noch geheißen: Du bekommst mehr Spielzeit. Doch es kam anders – und im Winter-Transferfenster sei ihm auf den letzten Drücker mitgeteilt worden, dass mit ihm nicht weiter geplant wird.
Dass der Coach seine Trainingsleistungen öffentlich anzweifelte, sorgte offenbar für viel Frust. Auch mit der sportlichen Leitung sei man auf Spielerseite unzufrieden. Man habe stets das Gefühl gehabt, dass Barça lieber heute als morgen endgültig verkaufen wollte.

Laut des Berichts will Fati nun beweisen, dass der Klub sich geirrt hat. Dass er noch immer das Zeug zum Topstar hat. Für den 22-Jährigen ist der Wechsel nach Monaco eine echte Chance – vielleicht sogar ein Sprungbrett. Was für ihn spricht: Er ist jung, hat noch Zeit für ein Comeback.
Vergangenen Sommer ging er bereits leihweise zu Brighton, nachdem Xavi ihm mitgeteilt hatte, dass er keine Rolle spielt. Jetzt ist er – zusammen mit Lenglet – einer der Ersten, der seine Zukunft geklärt hat.

Es gibt eine Kaufoption – und Fati hat sie unterschrieben. Sollte er in Monaco durchstarten, könnte es das Ende seiner Barça-Zeit sein. Die Katalanen werden rund 8 Millionen Euro an Gehalt sparen – ein Deal, der mit Brighton nicht gelungen war.
Vertraglich bleibt er bis 2028 an Barça gebunden. Doch ob es je ein echtes Comeback gibt? Die Entscheidung fällt spätestens im Sommer 2026.
