Müller nach seinem letzten Spiel für Bayern – „Nicht irgendwelche geschmacklosen Diskussionen führen“

Es war das letzte Spiel einer Bayern-Legende – doch der Abschied von Thomas Müller (35) ging beinahe komplett unter.

Das bittere Klub-WM-Aus der Münchner im Viertelfinale gegen PSG (0:2) wurde von der schweren Verletzung von Jamal Musiala (22) überschattet.

Auch Müller ließ der Zwischenfall natürlich nicht kalt. „Wir haben auch alle ein persönliches Verhältnis zu ihm, wir leben nicht wie Roboter nebeneinander, und dementsprechend war das schon ein harter Moment.“

Müller, der die Münchner nach dem Turnier nach 25 Jahren verlässt, wurde im DAZN-Interview gefragt, ob er nach der Musiala-Verletzung jetzt doch bei Bayern bleibt.

Müller: „Die Frage ist jetzt so ein bissel – ich verstehe, dass du sie stellst, deswegen sag ich nicht, dass sie geschmacklos war – aber sie fühlt sich für mich unangenehm an.“

Später wurde Müller in der Mixed Zone deutlicher: „Ich würde jetzt in der Situation erstmal die Gedanken Richtung Jamal richten und dass wir aufpassen, dass wir nicht irgendwelche geschmacklosen Diskussionen führen, nachdem sich jemand verletzt hat. Jeder kann sich seine Gedanken machen, aber ich denke, es ist alles gesagt zu dem Thema. Nur weil man jetzt irgendwelche Gedankenspiele auf den Tisch bringen kann, hat das nichts mit der Realität zu tun.“

Über seine Emotionen nach seinem letzten Auftritt für die Bayern – Müller wurde in der 80. Minute eingewechselt – sagte er: „Die Ereignisse muss man erstmal verarbeiten. (…) Ich bin noch voll im Arbeitsmodus drin. (…) Aber klar, mir ist schon bewusst, dass es mein letztes Spiel war.“

Die Schock-Szene: Musiala wird von PSG-Keeper Donnarumma in der Nachspielzeit der ersten Hälfte voll erwischt, sein linker Fuß ist verdreht. Direkt ist klar: Es ist eine Horror-Verletzung. Schiedsrichter Taylor pfeift zur Pause, Mit- und Gegenspieler sind komplett schockiert. Musiala wird mit einer Trage abtransportiert. Nach Informationen der Deutschen Presse-Agentur besteht bei Musiala der Verdacht auf einen Beinbruch.

Nach BILD-Informationen besteht Verdacht auf Wadenbeinbruch, Musiala wurde noch während des Spiels ins Krankenhaus gebracht.
