Die hitzigen Diskussionen um NFL-Trainerlegende Bill Belichick und seine Freundin Jordon Hudson hatten zuletzt etwas an Dampf verloren – nun steht die 24-Jährige wieder voll im Fokus. Dieses Mal wegen eines gescheiterten Wechsels eines Wrestlers an die University of North Carolina (UNC), wo Belichick das Football-Team trainiert.
Der Vorwurf: Hudson soll den Transfer beeinflusst haben.
Laut Aussagen von Nebraska-Wrestling-Coach Mark Manning gegenüber „Hurrdat Sports“ soll Jordon Hudson, die Partnerin des ehemaligen Patriots-Coaches, eine entscheidende Rolle bei der Blockade des Transfers von A.J. Ferrari an die UNC gespielt haben.
[–>Ferrari, ein ehemaliger Wrestling-Champion, war 2022 wegen sexueller Nötigung angeklagt, die Anklage wurde jedoch im Oktober 2023 fallengelassen. Er wechselte anschließend nach Nebraska – doch ursprünglich wollte er wohl nach North Carolina.

Bislang schien Belichicks Beziehung zu Hudson keine direkten Auswirkungen auf seine neue Rolle als Head Coach bei UNC zu haben – zur Freude der Verantwortlichen. Nun aber taucht Hudsons Name erstmals in einem hochschulpolitischen Kontext auf – und das bei einer heiklen Personalentscheidung.
