Campeão mundial pela seleção argentina em 2022, o meia Angel Di Maria teve uma segunda-feira emocionante ao se reapresentar oficialmente para o clube argentino, Rosário Central, que o revelou no esporte. Após cair em lágrimas mais cedo, ao realizar o sonho de voltar aonde tudo começou, o jogador já voltou às atividades em campo horas depois. O clube compartilhou as primeiras imagens do craque argentino treinando com o uniforme do Rosário.

A prática foi realizada no centro de treinamento da equipe em Arroyo Seco, próximo da cidade de Rosário.

Lágrimas na apresentação

Emocionando ao retornar à equipe, o jogador viralizou nas redes ao cair em lágrimas. O momento aconteceu após o clube exibir um vídeo em homenagem ao jogador, que relembrava as andanças de Ángel, ainda criança, pela cidade de Rosario em uma bicicleta. Bem como suas idas ao Gigante de Arroyito, estádio do Rosario Central. Assista:

“Di Maria não pôde conter as lágrimas. O argentino se emocionou com o vídeo do Rosário Central em seu regresso à casa”, escreveu um internauta, em espanhol.

— É algo muito lindo, com que sonhava fazia tempo. Quis voltar antes, mas não foi possível. Mas já foi. Hoje estou aqui, feliz, com minha família. Era o que desejava, jogar outra vez no Central, estar outra vez no Gigante — comentou o jogador.

Di María se despediu do Benfica na Copa do Mundo de Clubes. Aos 37 anos, realizou um sonho que vinha sendo impedido, anos antes, por ameaças violentas.

— Estou orgulhoso de tudo que fiz, mas, para mim, isso é maior que tudo. Voltar à minha casa depois de tanto tempo, tantos anos… sinceramente, é algo muito especial.
