Galvão Bueno, mesmo com a eliminação do Palmeiras no Mundial, fez questão de exaltar Estêvão. Responsável pelo único gol do time alviverde contra o Chelsea, o camisa 41, em breve, vai se juntar ao elenco dos Blues para iniciar uma nova etapa na carreira. Neste cenário, inicialmente, o locutor aprovou o comportamento do atacante em não “abrir o coração” para os jornalistas, já que o relato sobre a ansiedade de atuar fora do Brasil trouxe uma onda de críticas.
Em relação ao estilo em campo, Galvão Bueno confia que, em breve, a seleção vai contar com outro protagonista no setor ofensivo. Dono de uma grande habilidade, Estêvão foi enaltecido por não adotar uma conduta ríspida após sofrer faltas, algo que reflete um grande nível de amadurecimento.
“Foi muito bacana a entrevista e o posicionamento dele. Ele estava na bronca porque poderia falar uma coisa e depois usam fora do lugar. Foi a histórica do foco. Acha que sacanearam ele porque usaram a fala dele de outra forma. É um menino de um futuro gigantesco. Alguém discorda? Ele tem cabeça. Viram a intimidade com os jogadores do Chelsea no fim do jogo? Ele deve ter estudado um pouco de inglês e foi bater um papo com os caras.”, disse Galvão Bueno, no programa “Galvão e Amigos”, da Band.
“Ele vai ter um grande futuro e a seleção brasileira vai ter um grande jogador. Eu não tenho muita dúvida em relação a isso. Tem uma cabeça boa. Ele apanha um bocado e não faz escândalo.”, acrescentou.
Galvão Bueno prevê Estêvão e Palmer juntos
Titular na estreia de Ancelotti à frente da seleção, Estêvão sabe que não será fácil manter o espaço entre os jogadores preferidos do italiano. Projetando uma parecia do ex-jogador do Palmeiras ao lado de Cole Palmer, Galvão Bueno não tem dúvidas das chances promovidas por Enzo Maresca, já que nenhum outro atacante do Chelsea possui a ousadia do brasileiro.
“Ele vai ter oportunidades, vai crescer muito. Não tem um jogador como ele que parte para cima para decidir. Um cara que vai no meio-campo e vai tentando. Às vezes, não chega. Eu não vejo ele no lugar do Palmer. Vai jogar do meio para a esquerda.”, opinou.
Antes da chegada em Londres, Estêvão encarou um embate particular com Cucurella nas quartas de final do Mundial. Embora o clima tenha ficado pesado nos combates mano a mano, Galvão Bueno considera que, ambientado ao Chelsea, o jovem de 18 anos deve procurar uma aproximação envolvendo o espanhol.
“Quero ver como ele vai fazer amizade com o Cucurella, que deu umas porradas brabas nele, ele foi pra cima desse lateral… eu quero ver a amizade dos dois. O menino é esperto, vai chegar nele… vai aprender um espanholzinho para dizer: ‘Amigo, por favor. Solo mire. No me pegue’. (Amigo, por favor. Só olhe, não me bata).”, indicou.
