Rune Dahmke im privaten Glück!
Der Handball-Star vom THW Kiel ist zum ersten Mal Papa geworden. Am Montag postete er bei Instagram ein Bild in Schwarz-Weiß von seiner Frau Stine, die in einem Krankenhausbett liegt und im Arm das gemeinsame Neugeborene hält. Zärtlich kuschelt sich das Mädchen an seine Mutter, sie blickt es voller Liebe an und hält ihre Hände fest um die Kleine. Und auch Rune Dahmke ist voll mit Glück.

Unter anderem beglückwünschen der THW Kiel, die deutsche Handball-Nationalmannschaft, Ex-Handballer Pascal Hens und Nationalspieler Lukas Mertens die Familie. Auch die Handballerinnen Anja Althaus und Emily Bölk lassen Gratulationen da.
Stine Oftedal und Rune Dahmke: Erstes gemeinsames Kind da
Bölk und Oftedal Dahmke kennen sich aus gemeinsamen Duellen. Die Norwegerin war selbst Handballerin, wurde 2019 zur Welthandballerin des Jahres gewählt. Unter anderem spielte sie bei der EM 2018 gegen Deutschland, bei unserem 33:32 gegen sie erzielte Stine damals sieben Tore – Gratulantin Bölk übrigens fünf. Stine wurde nach dem Spiel zur „Player of the Match“ gewählt.
In ihrer Karriere holte Oftedal zweimal Olympia-Bronze, sie wurde dreimal Weltmeisterin, fünfmal Europameisterin, dreimal Champions-League-Siegerin und 2024 Olympiasiegerin. Im selben Jahr beendete die Top-Handballerin ihre Karriere, jetzt konzentriert sie sich auf ihr Baby.
Dahmke, der selbst 2016 Europameister wurde, erklärte nach ihrem Karriereende: „Ich habe diesem Sport viel zu verdanken, und dank des Sports habe ich auch Stine gewonnen. Deshalb freue ich mich auf unsere gemeinsame Zukunft.“
Übrigens: In der neuen Saison wird der Kiel-Star mit neuem Aufdruck auf dem Trikot auflaufen. Weil sein Cousin Jesse jetzt mit im Kader ist und die Namensgleichheit für Verwirrung sorgen könnte, spielt Rune Dahmke demnächst mit „R. Dahmke“ unter seiner Rückennummer 23.
