Deutschland im Poker-Fieber!
Nur noch 201 Spieler trennen Sebastian Schulze vom größten Karten-Coup seiner Karriere. Der Deutsche führt beim 10.000 Dollar Main Event der World Series of Poker in Las Vegas das Feld nach 5 Spieltagen an, geht als Spitzenreiter in die nächste Runde. Nach Pius Heinz (2011), Hossein Ensan (2019) und Koray Aldemir (2021) könnte er in den kommenden Tagen der nächste Weltmeister werden.
Deutscher führt bei 10-Mio-Event
Schulze erwischte einen echten Sahne-Tag, spielte sich aus dem Mittelfeld der verbliebenen Teilnehmer Stück für Stück an die Spitze. Zwar ist die unglaubliche Gewinnsumme von 10 Mio. Dollar (8,5 Mio. Euro) noch weit entfernt, aber zumindest kann er bei dieser Ausgangslage bereits davon träumen. Immerhin: 51.300 Euro hat er schon sicher.

Fakt ist: In seiner Karriere konnte Schulze rund 529.000 Euro einnehmen. Um diese Summe mit einem Schlag zu erreichen, muss er mindestens 13. im Turnier werden. Danach geht es mit der Kohle-Ausschüttung weiter steil nach oben. Dass er das Potenzial dazu hat, wurde bereits vom deutschen Superstar und GGPoker-Ambassador Fedor Holz erkannt.
Er holte Schulze in sein „Grindhouse 2“. Eine organisierte Gruppe von talentierten Spielern, die die Unterstützung von seiner Poker-Schule „Pokercode“ bekommen. Dieses Training scheint sich jetzt auszuzahlen. Auch der Österreicher Stefan Nemetz, der ebenfalls noch im Rennen ist, war Teil von diesem Programm. Allerdings gehörte er zum 1. Grindhouse.
Aber nicht nur Schulze hat aus deutscher Sicht gute Karten auf einen Mega-Erfolg in diesem Turnier. Auch Wagner Wysotchanski (Platz 21), Top-Star Leon Sturm (109.), GGPoker-Qualifikant Amadeus Janotta (129.) und Daniel Becker (169.) sind noch im Rennen. Sie alle wollen den ganz großen Jackpot knacken.
