Exposto pelo comandante rubro-negro no último final de semana, o camisa 9 ainda tem mais dois anos de contrato na equipe da Gávea, mas vê situação ficar delicada nos bastidores, com necessidade de remontada imediata para retomar o protagonismo.
Oficialmente, o vínculo de Pedro no Mais Querido é vigente até dezembro de 2027. Contudo, de acordo com o jornalista Venê Casagrande não está descartada uma futura saída, após os episódios de atrito nos bastidores. À nível nacional, o centroavante tem mercado praticamente fechado para esta temporada, uma vez que não pode atuar mais em jogos do Brasileirão e Copa do Brasil, por questões regulamentares, o que deixa o caminho de transferência internacional como alternativa mais clara.
Em 2025, Pedro esteve presente em 17 dos 40 jogos realizados pelo Flamengo, tendo marcado cinco gols e três assistências neste recorte. O índice fica bem abaixo do que o camisa 9 contemplou nas últimas temporadas. O recorde dele no Flamengo foi registrado em 2023, quando fez 35 gols e deu quatro passes que resultaram em tentos, nos 61 jogos realizados.

Em um plantel avaliado em mais de 200 milhões de euros, Pedro é o jogador mais bem avaliado do Flamengo, representando mais de 10% do valor total de mercado do clube carioca, segundo dados do Transfermarkt, site especializado no segmento. Atualmente, o camisa 9 está cotado em 22 milhões de euros (cerca de R$ 142,4 milhões na cotação atual), superando qualquer outro companheiro de time.
Quem mais se aproxima do atacante neste recorte é o lateral-direito Wesley, de 22 anos. Cotado por gigantes da Europa, o jovem está avaliado em 20 milhões de euros (R$ 129,4 milhões), e é visto como um ativo importante pela diretoria. O uruguaio Nicolás de La Cruz fecha o top-3 do mais caros no plantel rubro-negro, sendo avaliado em 18 milhões de euros (R$ 116,5 milhões).
Posicionamento do atacante não foi bem aceito
Horas depois das fortes declarações de Filipe Luís na coletiva, Pedro utilizou as redes sociais para emitir uma nota e se posicionar sobre o tema. A forma com que o camisa 9 se portou no pronunciamento, não pedindo desculpas públicas e ‘alfinetando’ indiretamente o treinador, não pegou bem nos bastidores do Flamengo. Ainda na fala, ele condicionou a queda de rendimento ao fato de ter vazado informações de seria vendido. De acordo com o “ge”, a diretoria vai tratar do assunto internamente. O atacante foi cortado do jogo contra o Santos, que acontece nesta quarta (16), pelo Brasileirão.
No início da semana, o atacante se reuniu com o elenco, sem a presença de Filipe Luís e deixou bem clara a insatisfação com a conduta do comandante na coletiva. Apesar de admitir que merecia ser questionado pelo baixo nível físico de rendimento, ele ficou incomodado com a exposição pública sobre seu comportamento.
