Na noite desta quarta-feira (16), o Botafogo empatou em casa com o Vitória por 0 a 0 pela 14ª rodada do Brasileirão. O time de Davide Ancelotti teve uma atuação de muitas oportunidades de gol, mas o goleiro Lucas Arcanjo, do time baiano, fez grandes defesas.
Com o resultado, o Botafogo perde a chance de entrar no G4 do Brasileirão e fica em 6º lugar com 22 pontos. Enquanto isso, o Vitória permaneceu na zona de rebaixamento, na 17ª posição, com 12 pontos. Assim, esse empate não ajudou nenhuma das equipes na tabela de classificação.
Botafogo pressiona, Vitória equilibra 2º tempo e jogo termina empatado
Na primeira etapa, o Botafogo foi o protagonista do jogo, já que estava em casa, assumiu o papel de atacar o tempo todo. Assim, o Fogão foi para o intervalo com 12 finalizações, contra apenas duas do Vitória, que contou com excelente atuação do goleiro Lucas Arcanjo para evitar os gols dos mandantes. De fato, o goleirão fechou os primeiros 45 minutos com 6 defesas importantes.
Na segunda etapa, o Vitória se arrumou e conseguiu equilibrar o jogo com o Botafogo, marcando baixo e saindo em contra-ataques. Assim, as duas equipes tiveram chance de sair com o triunfo no Nilton Santos, mas não conseguiram marcar, sacramentando o 0 a 0.
Torcedores do Botafogo criticam o time
Na reta final do jogo, foi possível escutar vaias ao time do Botafogo, mesmo que de forma isolada. Isso porque o time perdeu muitos gols e a torcida já estava impaciente no Nilton Santos. Mas, depois, fizeram festa para o volante Grégore, que está deixando o clube.
O empate no Nilton Santos foi, para alguns torcedores, um choque de realidade com o que o time viveu no Mundial de Clubes. Sobretudo em relação à vitória sobre o PSG. “Botafogo que ganhou do PSG empatando com o Vitória, é isso”, disse um botafoguense.

Saints agree to 10-year extension to remain in New Orleans through 2035
The New Orleans Saints aren't going anywhere. On Thursday, the Saints announced that they had signed a 10-year lease extension to continue to play at the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans through 2035. The Saints have been playing in the Superdome since 1975, and team owner Gayle Benson revealed that she had been working on this deal with the city for quite some time.
