Hanna and Haley Cavinder, the famous basketball-playing twins, recently made a personal announcement that has caught the attention of their millions of followers. After wrapping up their college basketball careers, the sisters revealed they had undergone matching breast implant surgeries.
The Cavinder twins started their collegiate careers at Fresno State, where Haley earned Mountain West Player of the Year honors in the 2020-21 season.
Cavinder twins part ways after an irreconcilable dispute over a tough decision
After transferring to the University of Miami, they played pivotal roles in helping the Hurricanes reach the Elite Eight for the first time in school history. Following their basketball success, they briefly explored training at the WWE Performance Center but ultimately returned for a final season at Miami, concluding their athletic careers in 2025.
While the Cavinders were known for their basketball skills, their influence reached far beyond the court. Thanks to the NCAA’s 2021 NIL (Name, Image, and Likeness) rule, they capitalized on their social media presence, landing sponsorship deals with major brands like Under Armour, Boost Mobile, Dick’s Sporting Goods, and Champs Sports. They also launched TWOgether, a fitness and wellness app that offers workout routines and nutrition advice.
On July 16, the Cavinder twins shared a TikTok video with their 4.6 million followers, where they revealed that they both had breast implants.
The video, which featured the sisters at the hospital, was accompanied by the caption: “Some twins match outfits, we match surgeries.” The humorous post quickly gained thousands of likes and comments, showing that their followers were excited about the new development in their lives.
Their announcement wasn’t a complete surprise. In June, the twins had hinted at the surgery on their social media, teasing their fans with playful messages. Their candid approach to sharing this personal decision reflects their commitment to transparency with their audience.
Hanna and Haley joked about their recovery and even shared snippets of their post-op experience, with Hanna being groggy from anesthesia and Haley eager to return to the gym soon.

The Cavinders’ openness about their surgery aligns with their broader strategy of sharing personal stories with their fans. This has included everything from fitness routines to challenges like eating disorders. Their followers admire the twins’ authenticity, which has built a strong bond between them and their audience.
