„Warum haben die den Campus überhaupt?“ – Harte Hamann-Kritik an Bayerns Nachwuchs-Politik

Im Interview mit Sky sagt er: „Jetzt wollen sie einen Luis Diaz holen, einen 28-jährigen Südamerikaner, der die letzten vier bis fünf Jahre jedes Jahr 50 Spiele gemacht hat, der durch die Mühle gegangen ist, dann die Flüge natürlich noch hat nach Südamerika, das ist immer ein Problem bei den Südamerikanern. 70 oder 80 Millionen zu bezahlen, der Wiederverkaufswert ist null, weil am Ende des Vertrags ist er 32 Jahre alt. Da frage ich mich, warum die den Campus dann überhaupt haben.“

Gemeint ist der Bayern-Campus, die Ausbildungsstätte des Rekordmeisters, wo Nachwuchsspieler geformt und gefördert werden, um bestenfalls einmal den Sprung in den Profi-Kader der Münchner zu schaffen.

Hamann deutlich: „Warum bilde ich die jungen Spieler aus? Die Spieler, die auf dem Sprung sind, die spielen nicht. Das heißt, die werden die Verträge nicht verlängern und wollen wahrscheinlich weg.“

Und weiter: „Was gibt es denn im Moment für einen Grund, junge Spieler nach München zu schicken? Außer dem Geld. Keinen.“

Für Hamann sollten die Nachwuchsspieler zu diesem frühen Zeitpunkt ihrer Karriere nicht auf das Geld, sondern auf mögliche Spielzeiten achten. Die seien aktuell bei den Bayern aber nicht gegeben.

Dem ehemaligen Bayern-Profi imponieren vor allem die Nachwuchsprofis Lennart Karl (17) und Wisdom Mike (16). Daher rät Hamann dem Klub auch davon ab, zu viel für Nick Woltemade (23) zu bezahlen.

Hamann sagt: „Für so einen Spieler, der vor zwei Jahren ablösefrei war, 70 Millionen zu bezahlen, das halte ich für absurd. Das sollten die Bayern nicht mitmachen. Dann lass‘ lieber einen Lennart Karl oder Wisdom Mike spielen und schaue, dass sie sich entwickeln, auch wenn sie erst 17 sind oder dann erst 18 werden.“

[–>Woltemade sei „ein Spieler, für den man 40 Millionen mit viel Fantasie bezahlen kann. Mehr würde ich nicht bezahlen“, so Hamanns Einschätzung.

Neben Aleksandar Pavlovic und Jamal Musiala (wechselte für 200.000 Euro von Chelsea in Bayerns U17) haben sich in den vergangenen Jahren keine Talente aus dem Campus im Klub durchgesetzt. Andere Nachwuchs-Kicker wie Kenan Yildiz (20/Juventus) trumpfen bei anderen Vereinen auf.
