Training camp has now begun for all NFL teams, and the Cleveland Browns are no exception. As expected, all eyes are on the franchise due to the quarterback situation, with four players competing for the starting role-one of them being the media-driven Shedeur Sanders.

Shedeur Sanders has a very difficult path ahead just to play a single snap in the NFL. He envisioned arriving in the league as a star, but now he’s the fourth option, and his chances are slim. Ahead of Shedeur are Joe Flacco, Kenny Pickett, and fellow rookie Dillon Gabriel, who was also selected in the recent NFL Draft.
One key indicator that Shedeur Sanders’ NFL career is at risk is that he hasn’t had a single opportunity to practice with the first team-while the others have. Furthermore, the Browns could target a quarterback in the first round of the 2026 Draft, which would further shrink the already limited options for Deion Sanders’ son.

There is no doubt that the most important position in the NFL is quarterback. If you have a decent player at that position, you can look to the future with hope-but if you don’t, things look bleak, as is currently the case in Cleveland.
Alex Kay of Bleacher Report published a ranking of the worst quarterback rooms in the league and placed the Cleveland Browns at No. 30.
