É oficial: Biel está de saída do Sporting. Nesta sexta-feira, o extremo, de 24 anos, foi anunciado como reforço do Atlético Mineiro, que recebe o jogador por empréstimo dos leões. Embora não haja confirmação oficial, a imprensa desportiva portuguesa revelou que o clube ficou com o direito de exercer uma cláusula de compra de 7 milhões de euros, que pode vir a tornar-se obrigatória mediante o cumprimento de determinados objetivos.
Biel, recorde-se, tinha chegado a Alvalade no último mercado de inverno, mas acabou por não ter uma passagem feliz pelo emblema verde e branco: participou em apenas sete jogos oficiais, num total de 110 minutos em campo, nos quais não marcou qualquer golo nem realizou assistências.
O Sporting contratou-o ao Bahia num negócio de 6 milhões de euros mais 2 milhões em variáveis, com a transferência a alcançar, entretanto, os 6,42 milhões de euros. Significa isto que, mesmo não tendo um rendimento desportivo à altura do esperado de leão ao peito, Biel ainda pode vir a dar lucro ao Sporting, caso se confirme a transferência em definitivo para o Atlético Mineiro por 7 milhões de euros.
