Barça-Superjuwel Lamine Yamal (18) hat zuletzt mit einer wilden Geburtstags-Party für Aufsehen gesorgt. Der Spanier soll zu der Fete Kleinwüchsige und Frauen für ihr Kommen gebucht und bezahlt haben.
Der Aufschrei danach war groß. Jetzt spricht Barcelona-Boss Joan Laporta (63) über die Situation – und findet klare Worte.

Und weiter: „In dieser Hinsicht freue ich mich, dass er eine gute Party geschmissen hat. Es war im privaten Rahmen, dann ist er zum Training gekommen, und er trainiert wie jeder anderer. Und in dieser Hinsicht habe ich ihm nichts vorzuwerfen. Im Gegenteil, ich möchte ihm gratulieren, und ich freue mich, dass sie Spaß bei einer Geburtstagsfeier hatten.“

Spaß hatte Yamal auf jeden Fall. Bis in die frühen Morgenstunden soll gefeiert worden sein, mit dabei waren etliche prominente Gäste. Trotzdem gab es im Anschluss Negativ-Schlagzeilen. Der Spanier soll Kleinwüchsige für ihr Kommen gebucht und bezahlt haben.
Nach der Veröffentlichung der Details wurde der Vorfall heftig kritisiert. Yamal wurde Diskriminierung vorgeworfen. Der spanische Verband für Menschen mit Kleinwuchs (ASDD) kündigte daraufhin rechtliche Schritte an.

Auch die spanische Regierung ist inzwischen in den Fall involviert und fordert eine umfassende Aufklärung. Der Grund für das Eingreifen ist die Prüfung, ob möglicherweise gegen das Behindertengesetz verstoßen wurde, das Menschen mit Behinderung vor Verunglimpfung und Spott schützen soll.
