In one image, the tight end’s phone lock screen showed a black-and-white picture of the couple, a subtle but significant detail, and an insider speaking to PEOPLE insists it was not a coincidence.
“They’ve been private in their own way,” the source said. “But this was his way of showing how serious things have become. They’re in a really solid place and more in sync than ever.”
Though the pair have been dating publicly since September 2023, this marks the first time 35-year-old Travis has posted Taylor to his profile and comes around 13 months on from the first time the popstar posted him.
On that day, she showed off her man by sharing a selfie from her Eras Tour show in London, the heart of Britain, alongside Prince William, Prince George, and Princess Charlotte.
Kelce reportedly viewed it as an honor to support Swift, with the couple now described as “incredibly happy and in sync.” The source noted that their relationship has become a grounding force in both of their lives.
This public recognition aligns with a notable period of change for the couple as the singer recently regained control of her master recordings in a major career milestone and according to a source, Kelce‘s support during this moment made it even more meaningful for her.
“She’s proud, relieved,” an insider also told PEOPLE. “And finally feels like a chapter has closed in the best possible way.
“Having Travis by her side for that milestone made it even more special. There’s a calmness and ease to their relationship right now that’s been really grounding for Taylor and Travis.”

This period of public openness also coincides with Kelce‘s increasing visibility beyond the NFL as he makes an acting cameo in Happy Gilmore 2, earning praise from none other than Adam Sandler.
The triple Super Bowl champion is known his charisma on and off the field and joined the film shortly after playing in a game, showing off his dedication and adaptability.
“Travis is honestly… just a great, great actor,” Sandler said in an interview. “He feels like he’s your buddy. He feels like he will protect you.
“He’s got everything. As an actor, swear to God, he could be a superstar if he wanted to do that.”
