For 23 years in NFL, Tom Brady broke all the rules, carrying teams to wins and, remarkably, growing younger in fans’ eyes as his career progressed.
Athlon Sports looked back at this through pictures of Brady over time, showing how he seemed to “age backwards” from a 22-year-old rookie to a 45-year-old legend.

Brady’s path is like F. Scott Fitzgerald’s fictional character Benjamin Button, who started old and got younger over time. Social media went wild when the NFL posted 13 photos of Brady’s journey. One fan said on the post: “This man aged backwards because why does he look so much better in the later years than the younger years.”
Through his best years and into his mid-40s, Brady has always looked younger, with a sharp face, and a lean body, all things that usually do not match with an againg body. People made a lot of jokes about making copies of him and were in awe of his “perfect face” from 2010 to 2025.

After retiring in early 2023, Brady said he lost about 10 pounds, linking it to less stress and a more strict focus on his overall health care. He said this in a podcast:
“I’m down about 10 pounds… I haven’t had the stress that I had while I was playing.”

Despite lots of talk about facial procedures like Botox, jawline fillers, and hair transplants, Brady has denied undergoing cosmetic enhancements. He holds that his good looks come from his firm health habits, not medical interventions.
Some doctors state that some non-invasive treatments such as botox may be behinf¡d his smoother skin, but at the same time they point out that his really disciplined lifestyle is the main factor of his excellent health and skin condition.
